Ok, just a little review to let you know..... I have tried multiple brands of scar tape and scar gel. I am 1 yr post-op and have been using one form or another of silicone on my scars since they healed up enough to use. My surgeon recommended another brand which was $80 a sheet for 5 sheets. It worked a little and it was not a noticeable improvement in the short term. I moved on to Silicone gel. A little better results and I was applying it 3 times a day. My clothes took most of it off so I did a hybrid approach for a while. I would put gel on then the tape on top. Better results but still not what I was hoping for. Nothing super impressed me. All of these helped a little, but not significantly. (Using all of this I still got huge bumpy / lumpy scars) Until this silicon tape product. Yes sometimes I alternate with gel. It mainly goes like this though (Your use may vary, this is just what is working for me) - I put on the gel and cover over it with the tape. I actually leave it in place for a week if possible. (sometimes my clothes rub on the tape and make it roll and then it usually makes me shorten the tape or remove) If I have managed to keep it on for a week. I will remove for 12 hours and clean thoroughly with water and wear only gel during that time. I reapply the old tape or add new tape if the old one is too worn, rolled or not as sticky. I have been doing this protocol / routine for the last 3 - 4 weeks and I am finally seeing noticeable lightening and flattening of the scars. So much so I added tape to all my dark pink parts of the scar and everything is fading. I'm planning to continue using this product until the scars are faded and completely settled.

I'm not using this scar tape for its "scar away" properties although it's probably helping with that. I recently had a total knee replacement, and the scar has been extremely sensitive--so much so that clothing moving lightly over it, or a sheet moving over it at night was driving me absolutely crazy. I needed something to adhere to the scar so I wouldn't feel anything moving over it. This tape is working fantastic for that purpose. I'm only using it over my scar when I have to have my knee covered with clothing or at night, so I'm not wearing it all the time as some people are. I make sure my leg is clean and dry before I put it on, and I've had no problems with it rolling up or coming loose. I use the same piece of take over and over again for weeks. The only reason I throw a piece away is because the instructions say to just rinse it in warm water, and after weeks of use I figure warm water can't be keeping it very sanitary.

After recent skin cancer removal on my face my doctor told me to get silicone scar tape to accelerate healing. I chose Silicone Scar Tape because it was on a continuous roll and could be cut to fit the size I needed with less waste. Some come in predetermined lengths. I also discovered that after wearing the scar tape overnight it seemed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles so I cut it in half moons and tried it under my eyes. It works as well as the commercially available wrinkle patches

I keep at least 3 extra boxes of this awesome stuff on hand. I guess you could say I “stockpile.” It’s super sticky, but leaves zero residue. It’ll even stay on in the shower. I wear it on my shins everyday to cover up a couple of patches, that have lost pigmentation (due to eczema) and that can also be red, itchy and scaly at the same time. You have to look really closely to even see it…which I love! No more dermablend getting all over my clothes, furniture and other surfaces. And the best part is, that it’s improved my scars and eczema 10 fold!!! So happy to have found this remarkable tape!!

My daughter had to cover a wound from a dog bite all summer, and use a tape to minimize scarring....after trying many options, this worked the best. We were able to cut it to the perfect size and for her it was a great color match. It adheres all day. Now if they can do a water proof one for swimming that would be awesome.

I’ve had multiple surgeries and used a variety of scar tape or sheets. This one gets a five star review because it works. It also stays put and it doesn’t leave any residue when you take it off. I wear it for up to 12 hours. It is absolutely smoothing out my keloid scars. I’m on my second box and would buy it again if I have other surgery.

Yes! This was recommended to me from a nurse I know and at first I was skeptical. However , I put more trust in this more-so than the ones I found at a pharmacy. This has superior adhesion and does the job on softening the scar tissue with the silicone treatment. Gave it a 4.5 for style, etc due to the lack of instructions in reviewing what you should expect . I will continue to use it to find if the redness from the surgical site would lighten up, and that I expect this to take a few months.

I had surgery at the end of January most of my scars have healed very well, but I was left with one that formed a keloid, I started using the silicon tape about 2 weeks ago and I can clearly see is going down I am excited to see out it looks in the upcoming weeks, it is also very comfortable to use and stick very well, but did not cause any skin burns like others have.
