Size:1.8” x 157”Inch-4M Silicone Scar Tape. Silicone Scar Sheets is water resistant, flexible and washable. Whether you’ve had a scar for days or decades, diminish its appearance and reclaim your skin in as little as 4-8 weeks. Each sheet is self-adhesive and durable for up to 7-10 days. Individual results will vary. What Types of Scars to Use On Silicone Scar Sheets works to diminish the appearance of hypertrophic scars and keloids, which have a raised and/or discolored appearance. These types of scars may result from surgery, injury, burns, cuts, insect bites, c-sections and more. Also works as an acne scar treatment. When to Start Using. Begin using scar sheets as soon as the skin is healed and there is no oozing or crusting in the area. Treatment with silicone scar sheets for post-surgical scars may typically begin 1-2 weeks after stitches are removed or when cleared by a physician or surgeon for use. For existing scars, begin using silicone scar sheets right away, provided the skin is fully healed. How to use: 1-Please clean the oil on the skin surface and keep it dry. Oil will affect the stickiness of the sheets. Use a hair dryer to heat the sheets to restore the stickiness. 2- Press scar sheet gently on to the scar area. TIPS: 1-Use this product once scar or wound has been healing for at least 7 days. You may start using immediately on older scars. 2-Silicone sheets should be worn for 4-8 hours per day for the first few days, and gradually increased up to 24 hours a day. 3-Use a minimum of 12 hours a day for maximum results. 4-Recommended duration of treatment is 60-90 days. For best results, alternate scar sheets with scar gel every 12 hours. 5-Using disinfectant to clean the wound may cause allergic reactions. 6-The product will form a closed space and the wound will produce an overreaction and cause allergies.

I tried the silicone creams, but they're so messy. This stuff is great because it can be worn, then washed (gently) and set out to dry, and be worn again. Very good during the transition phase, when bandages are gone and there is nothing open about the wound, but the body is not accustomed to the insult of the scar. It's healing, and makes clothing comfortable. I was less likely to feel the itchy stage of the scar healing, too. ... show more

My hand was ripped open, 22 stitches, I was seriously filleted, you could see my tendons, the damage was narly. Once the stitches were out and the wound closed I decided to try these and I'm glad I did. Keep in mind some of my wound is still healing so I didn't apply to those areas. However the area I did apply it to was extremely raised and after only a week it's almost completely smooth. I couldn't be happier. On top of that the wound is on my dominant hand, I'm using it all day and washing, these things stayed put the entire 24hrs of wear. I love how this helps my newer scars become less noticeable over time. One thing to note is to wear these atleast for 12 hours each time !!!

    • Pacemaker Scar
I had pacemaker surgery. The scar was sore for months. This felt good when I covered the scar area. But when you take it off the hold is so strong you feel like it pulls way to hard. So if your scar still feels fresh I would think twice.

This adheres well in areas without a lot of friction. In other areas, try trimming the corners to improve adhesion.
