  • Worked AOK in my 2012 Macbook Pro. Good value and bang for the buck.
Capacity: DDR3 1600 16GB (8GBx2) Color: 8GBx2 (1600)
As a Mac owner, I normally am extremely picky about getting ram via Amazon as Apple's specs are very strict and some ram you find which is fine in a PC laptop won't boot in a Mac. I usually go with OWC or Crucial but due to "Covid19" my budget is extremely tight at present. Frankly saving 20 bucks right now was very appealing as far as this brand vs. those I mentioned. Long story short, this Silicon Power RAM worked perfectly fine in my 2012 Macbook Pro with out any problem. I even ran a memory Test on the RAM with a program called "Rember" and it passed AOK. Silicon Power is a know brand and they make SSD's so they are in the "memory business". ... show more

  • Did not work on 3 computers
Capacity: DDR3 1600 8GB (8GBx1) Color: 8GBx1 (1600)
So purchased a mini pc and this stick to upgrade the memory. Didn't work. Bought another mini pc thinking it was faulty. Didn't work. Decided to try it one one of my laptops. Didn't work. I have yet to have this work on any machine i have. Other memory sticks worked without issue. Too late for return. ... show more

  • Photoshop Runs Like a Dream Now
Capacity: DDR4 2666 32GB (16GBx2) Color: 16GBx2 (2666)
If you're using RAM-intensive tasks, I'd definitely recommend upgrading your RAM. I moved my laptop up from 8GB of RAM to this 32GB kit, and it made a world of difference. Multitasking doesn't cause my laptop to slow down anymore, and I can run Photoshop with many times more layers on one project before I have to worry about the RAM usage slowing my PC to a crawl. This brand is reliable, and it's exactly as advertised. If this will fit your machine, this will work just as well as the same binned SODIMM from the more expensive sellers. ... show more

  • Good quality product. Performs as you would expect.
Capacity: DDR3 1600 16GB (8GBx2) Color: 8GBx2 (1600)
The packaging on this item is pretty typical for how you receive most memory modules. Of course, difficult to get into but generally protected from basic issues. Used these to upgrade the memory on my 2014 iMac to max it out. Went in easily. No issues with the memory. Performing how is should be for the last 5-6 months now. Very happy I upgraded. ... show more

  • Great Upgrade for Synology DS416Play
Capacity: DDR3 1600 8GB (8GBx1) Color: 8GBx1 (1600)
First chip I got was a dud. It happens, but have to dock a star for that. Replacement was shipped quickly and placed in my Synology DS416Play NAS. Original 1 GB RAM wasn't cutting it anymore. Was using 77% available RAM even without doing anything. With this 8 GB stick I am using 11% RAM and everything runs so much faster and smoother. Highly recommend this if you are looking to breath new life into an older NAS. ... show more

  • Does not work for Apple Macbook Pro early 2015 model
Capacity: DDR3 1600 16GB (8GBx2) Color: 8GBx2 (1600)
Early 2015 Macbook Pro. I opened the caseback and looked thoroughly at each component. There was no way to see where the memory was located or how to upgrade. My only conclusion is that this specific model, unlike most of the others, was designed to not be upgradable or else you'd have to do so with considerable advance knowledge. I have upgraded other versions of Macbook Pro but this memory did not work specifically on the "early 2015" model with Retina display. ... show more

  • It installs easily and it works.
Capacity: DDR3 1600 16GB (8GBx2) Color: 8GBx2 (1600)
I kind of felt like my 2012 Mac Mini has become a paperweight. It had slow boot times, applications were unbearably slow. I replaced the hard drive with an SSD and the stock 4 gigs of ram with 16. The Mac feels new again.

  • Does not function on my laptop
Capacity: DDR4 2666 32GB (16GBx2) Color: 16GBx2 (2666)
The specs on these are identical to the name brand ones I ended up purchasing, but they do not work in my HP laptop. I took too long to install, so the return window had closed or I would have returned them. I read the mixed reviews and took a chance, it didn't work out for me. They seem to be well built, and packaged well, they just didn't work for me. ... show more
