There is definitely a bit of a learning curve for this. I suggest watching a lot of videos. I don’t feel like some of the preset settings for the different materials is correct and it takes fiddling with it a good deal to figure out the best settings for what you are cutting. Also for some reason every other time I cut even with the exact same setting it does not cut at all which is annoying. For these reasons I would say it’s not super user friendly for beginners. On the other hand I have had this for 3 days and have made some super cute shirts with it. The bundle is a great deal and the vinyl that comes with it is good quality. ... show more

This machine is AMAZING!!! Set up was super fast! I practiced with the program and it's super easy once you know what to do. I highly suggest watching YouTube videos or visiting a friend who has one. Sometimes you make a mistake in the set up, so trial and error does occur. I have had NO problems with my machine itself, only user errors when I forget to set the right depth or put the image in the wrong place on the program. Weeding the vinyl is my favorite part, but sometimes transfering the vinyl from the backing onto transfer paper can be tricky. This is my first vinyl cutter and I LOVE it! ... show more
