I have had the cameo 2 for years and have always loved it but it was time to update. This new version is amazing! It’s quiet and fast. I am not a fan of the auto blade, not sure if it’s because I’m not using it correctly or what but I never get a good cut with it. Other than that there’s nothing I don’t like about this machine. I do love that it connects via Bluetooth so no more running that cord across the room.

Can't load vinyl , I purchased a cameo 5 back in September and decided to hook it up now and the paper will not load , I purchased a warranty with this, but I'm not seeing a warranty when I try to pull it up. What's going on with this?

While I am new to this, the cameo 5 claims to be mostly calibrated with the cameo mat and should also able to use without the mat. I've tried both over the last week and i can tell you the settings on this thing SUUUUUUCK! I can't tell you how much vinyl I've wasted trying to get a shirt. The one I did get to cut correctly I had to adjust the settings A LOT. I put it on a shirt and as soon as I wore it the vinyl cracked and split across my boobs. I used what came with it so this shouldn't be such an issue. Most of the time it only cuts the backing and the vinyl is intact. The standard and glitter setting are WAYYYYY OFF! I've had to triple the force and double the passes and it still didn't cut the vinyl. I'll update if it gets any better.
