The Silhouette AutoBlade is available exclusively for the CAMEO 3 and Portrait 2. With the AutoBlade, you don’t have to manually adjust your blade! Simply let your machine do all the work for you. The Silhouette Studio software program will provide recommended cut settings for common material types, and you can adjust them in the software as desired. Then, when you send your design to your Silhouette, your machine will automatically adjust your AutoBlade to the blade setting you chose in the software. Sit back and watch your machine work its magic. The AutoBlade is made of a sintered tungsten alloy composed of super-fine powder for extra durability. It says silhouette and it says 3 but its not for silhouette portrait 3. If you buy this for that you'll find out the hard way. The new versions have a flat back with a metal strip and it wont work on portrait 3. Great if I could use it. Looks great on my shelf next to the trash can. 3/5 for being misleading. ... show more

    • Blade stopped working
They are supposedly silhouette brand. But I replaced my old blade because it was getting dull. I cut one thing with it and the blade no longer moved up and down. Not sure why it broke. I didn’t do anything different. I’ll try the other two I got but I hope that one was just a dud.

Blades worked properly. It was my first time buying replacements and I was having trouble with them at first but realized it was because I hadn't locked the blades in correctly. Remember to push down on the top so it's all the way down in the cradle while you push the tab in to lock. Once I did that they worked great. ... show more

Could not find these local but Amazon always has what I need. I purchased these and the added bonus of 50 free designs was an awesome treat. Only the code was already used and so no bonus designs for me. That part stunk.
