I have trouble going to sleep, and my husband doesn't like to try anything new. I had heard that linen sheets are so comfy they could improve one's sleep.....how to introduce them to my husband and overcome his resistance? I read lots of reviews and braced myself for a possible return......was very pleasantly surprised when these arrived. Here's what I like about them: 1) The packaging. Very appealing and tidy. Nice labels. Even the sheets are labelled and specify "top" and "side" which are difficult to identify otherwise. 2) Weight and feel of the sheets. Comfy. Tight weave, soft, not messy. 3) Fit our Queen bed perfectly. 4) Choice of top sheet (4 pieces) or not (3 pieces)....you get what you pay for. 5) Very nicely sewn and finished. 6) Husband approves! I have been considering linen sheets for some time. My daughter will sleep on nothing else and she recommended them to me. BUT...because of the price, I hesitated. Well, I wish I had purchased them years ago. Yes they are expensive but so are Tommy Bahama sheets, etc......and by the time you purchase several of those you might as well buy linen ones. These are so comfortable. I have slept on them for two nights and they are simply amazing. No cold spots in the bed like regular sheets. They seem to move with you and they just wrap you in a cocoon of comfort . I washed them once, although since they are stone washed they were very soft when I opened the package but I washed them anyway. I highly recommend them, you will be happy that you splurged. ... show more

First of all, I chose this sheet because it had the best reviews and because the company states on their website that they donate a percentage of their sales to the Joyful Heart Foundation, a great cause. I've never owned linen sheets before so I don't have others to compare this sheet to, but I absolutely love it. I bought the king size for my queen bed so it would hang over the sides and it give me that natural, wrinkled, oversized look I wanted over my thicker linen duvet. The color is totally accurate to the pictures Sijo provides which is appreciated because sometimes white can look too yellow or blue-toned in real life. The material is a bit "scratchy" at first but washing it fixes that (I had to look up the proper way to care for linen). It also doesn't feel thin and it has a stiffness while remaining soft and flowy if that makes sense. I loooove this sheet! ... show more

I live in Florida where it gets very hot. These sheets keep me cooler and they feel so luxurious. Not rough at all. They wash nicely too. Yes, linen wrinkles but if you take them out of the dryer and fold them or use them right away they are fine. Even if they do wrinkle from letting them sit in your dryer, when you use them the wrinkles will work themselves out. They are very high quality linen sheets. Do not expect them to behave like any old cotton sheets. I have washed mine several times now, the stitching is strong and they do not shrink like cheap linen, you will notice the difference in the quality of the fabric. They have ample room for large mattresses and toppers, mine are a bit big actually and you can tuck the flat sheet under the mattress just fine, plenty of fabric for that. I hope this helps you make up your mind. I love them and the price point is very good. ... show more

I literally never slept better and i have lived in my apt for 2 years, same bed and same mattress, the only thing I changed was the sheets. They are so airy and soft, and I absolutely adore the sheet set! I bought Brooklinen linen sheets before because their ads are everywhere in nyc, and brooklinen's linen sheets are very thin and feel a little cheap, but these ones are definitely much thicker and feel very high quality and luxury! ... show more

Disclaimer - This is my first set of linen sheets, so a lot of what I am about to base my review on, may be common knowledge to others that have experienced linen sheets.... Based on the reviews, I had high hopes for a luxurious set of sheets. I was slightly mistaken. The sheets feel of good quality, nice weight and color. But after a month of sleeping in them, I feel compelled to write a review. The sheets are a little scratchy to sleep in if you are used to nice cotton sheets. The linen sheets also stretch out quite a bit after you’ve slept in them a few times and my husband and I are always retucking the fitted sheet - granted we have a thinner memory foam mattress compared to a jumbo 26” box spring and mattress, which may be half of the problem, but it’s really annoying. I almost think we should’ve sized down from king to Queen for a tighter fit after the sheet stretches out. I probably would not buy these again and instead spend $250 on a nice set of Egyptian cotton sheets next time. Insert sad face here. ... show more

    • After 5 months of use, sheets are a total FAIL!
When I first bought the Sijo linen sheet set, I was in love! Upon first use, they were luxurious and comfortable just like most of the reviews said they would be. But now after sleeping on them for the past 5 months and washing them every couple of weeks, I’m sorely disappointed with them. The elastic band on the fitted sheet quickly grew completely loose, so that now it’s essentially just a flat sheet that needs to be tucked under my mattress. I went on Amazon and bought special fasteners just to keep the sheets staying on my mattress but it’s a royal pain to remove them for laundering. The charcoal color has also faded so badly that they’re now more of a faded grey denim color. I always washed them in cold water and dried by air only, so color fading is ridiculous. These sheets were a splurge at their expensive price tag and I really wanted to adore them, but now I really don’t recommend them at all! I generally will spend more money to get better quality items, but this is NOT a good purchase. ... show more
