The Ashley Roddington 74" TV Stand is a beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture. It was well packaged to protect the contents. The box had some slight damage (tears in the cardboard and a slightly crushed corner) but the contents were not damaged at all. We had a bad experience with a different fully assembled TV stand we ordered from Amazon (3 separate times the delivered TV stand had damage to it and we refused delivery on all of them), so this was such a pleasure to open and find no damage. Granted, we had to assemble this one, but an undamaged product made this a win in our book. The box is heavy as is the assembled TV stand (you will need a helper to move it!). Assembly is not difficult, just follow the pictures (much like Ikea instructions). We put a 75" flat screen on it and there are about 7" to spare (3.5" on each side). Our very large sound bar fits great in the top opening. I think the sound bar is 42" long so we needed a TV stand with a large opening to hold it. This is the one! The cable modem and the separate router fit nicely behind the two side glass doors. There is an extra shelf behind each of the glass doors, plus two open shelves in the middle of the unit. The cord management and venting holes in the back are well placed and plentiful. We love this TV stand! ... show more

This entertainment fireplace is awesome. Very sturdy and looks expensive. You can fit a lot of electronics on this. The glass doors allows for items to show through. The glass doors also balances the heaviness if this piece. I had been eyeing this piece for quite some time. The price was lower on Amazon than Ashley furniture store at the time of purchase. Overall happy with the final result of furniture but it's far from perfect. The marble at the base, while beautiful, is not for everyone (it's camouflage), and it wasn't shown in any pictures. The unit was delivered at 2pm on a weekday, so no one was home. It was left outside in the rain. It's very heavy, so my husband had to open the box outside and bring in the individual pieces. Something this massive needs a scheduled delivery! One of the side hinges was not attached and the supporting beam on the top right of the unit was split. Our only guess is the box was dropped during shipping or delivery. My husband had to find screws to reattach the hinge himself and use wood glue to repair the beam before we could start assembly. During that we noticed several imprints on all sides of the unit (too tight packaging maybe?) and several chips in the wood. They're all cosmetic and not super noticeable, but proves the quality leaves something to be desired. It wasn't worth returning and waiting another month for a replacement unit to arrive, but was highly disappointing. ... show more

We had saw this same TV stand in a store and they didn't have it didn't know when they could get it so when I saw it while shopping TV stands on Amazon it was in the top 3 choices. We had just purchased a 75" TV so we wanted a Lg stand for it. From the time we carried the box in the house until we were TV ready was 1 1/2 hours. My husband said it was easy to assemble but it could use more pictures in the instructions. I haven't put all the space to benefit yet but I love the windowed shelves. We didn't get the fireplace for it but we might some day. I don't like the little ledge built in for the fireplace since we didn't get that option but it would look great with the fireplace insert in there. ... show more

This piece of furniture is aesthetically beautiful once assembled, but boy oh boy is it provided with cheap hardware and poor packaging. One of the front panels was chipped bc the styrofoam was flying out of the box in our driveway due to shipping damage. Shipper also left us with the pallet, which was annoying to get rid of. Some issues with measurement tolerance being out of square that my fiancee and I struggled with... hardware should be mutch beefier considering the weight of individual pieces, but this is what you get for a six hundred dollar pierce that is so large. We're happy with the end result, but next time would opt to buy at an actual furniture store and have delivered fully assembled. ... show more

This is absolutely beautiful! Its 280lbs. I had to bring it in piece by piece and had help with the main part which was the heaviest. Be careful to make sure you get all the boxes out because you will over look the small box with all the screws and the instructions. Its a huge mess getting gout of the box with the packing. This thing is extreamly heavy and you will need two people at least to move it. Solid and pretty though. The holes in the front top panel does not line up on mine to put the screws in but there are screw that mount to the side on the inside that hold it in place so it wasn't a big deal.
