So if your like me, you take in to account all the reviews to help make your decision. My couch was supposed to be delivered today between 9-12. I got a call at 8 saying they could "deliver it now if you'd like or we can come back in a couple hours. Which works best for you?" I was so excited to get it!! They brought the couch in, unpacked, assembled & took all the trash (ADDL. FEE) and it looks AMAZING and is so comfortable!! I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and look!     • Very hard to stow the leg rest away.

Being that I am tall my feet stick over the leg rest. But that is okay. It is firm but comfortable and the color was dark gray and went well with the room. Now when you put your legs up you better have strong knees because it hard to stow it back down. What everyone else said was true. But I like it.... ... show more

We purchased this on 4-19-22. By Feb of 2023 we realized the seat support on both recliner sides was failing. By April it had become almost unusable. The cushions had collapsed. I had tried to contact the mfg, but they never responded. However, when we first bought the sofa we also bought the extra warranty from Allstate, on the chance that if the sofa failed they would make it good. The only reason we bought the sofa was because we felt we had a security backup. Guess what, not only is the sofa garbage, but so is the warranty! According to allstate/square trade a loss of seat resiliency is not covered. WhAT? SO if the couch actually makes your back hurt if you sit on it and the build quality is so bad that it can't last a year, well - too bad. From both the manufacturer and the warranter. Ashley wouldn't respond to emails while it was in the factory warranty period. Allstate tossed the ball when it was out. Oh, they are going to refund the $110 cost of the warranty, gee thanks. Finally, I am 70 years old, my wife is 73. I am 6' tall and weigh 235 lbs.. My wife is 5'7" and weighs 150. So we are not some giant people that overload the furniture. I guess I'll now pay to have someone haul this to the dump. Pathetic! SO, stay away from both Ashley and Allstate. Also, I am a vine reviewer but I paid hundreds for this sofa and it was not part of the vine program. ... show more

I am in love with this couch! My husband says it’s the best couch he’s ever owned! One of the L-bars came slightly bent but hubby was able to straighten it out. Other than that hiccup, assembly was a breeze. I have to say our favorite feature about this couch is the reclining action! It’s super smooth and easy. My 5 year old can work the recliner seat all by himself without struggle. Very smart design. I wish sectionals were more like this couch! ... show more

PROS: delivered on time, easy to assemble, upholstery is soft to the touch, reclines very far (almost fully lying down!), nice color (dark grey) CONS: not very comfortable - there are lots of hard edges that are not covered by pillow/stuffing. The center console section with the cup holders feels like wood with fabric glued over the top, no softness at all, and the foot rest has a similar edge where the stuffing doesn't come up over the edge of the frame, leaving an uncomfortable line across the back of the leg (or foot) when you put up the foot rest.     • Imperfect, But Good

Due to medical issues, I have to sleep in a recliner. From that perspective, here are my thoughts: I wish it reclined further. I don't need it to be a full 180°, but it feels like it's only 135°. It would be nice if it reclined further. I also wish the seat tipped back when it reclined. As is, the seat is level with the ground, so there is a tendency to slowly slide downward. While overall build quality feels solid, I brushed my hand against the zipper for the cover over the center console lid, and the zipper fell apart like the metal was rusted. One time, digging my hand between the seat and the arm, I discovered an upward-pointing pin or nail. The painful way. Overall, it's well padded, but the top of the arm, under the padding, isn't flat so sitting on the arm itself (not the normal way to use it) is a bit uncomfortable. Aside from those nits, it's a good, study product. It takes a reasonably short time to change from upright to reclined positions. I'm 5'8", and the footrest supports my calves. With my legs outreached, my heels overhang the footrest, but it extended enough so it's not uncomfortable. ... show more
