I'm very happy with this set. I looked at a lot of them and liked this the best, even though it was significantly cheaper than many others. It's nice looking and very sturdy. Assembly was probably the easiest of any I've ever done. All the holes and bolts/screws lined up perfectly. Hardware was packaged nicely (tho you don't get any extra, so be careful with them). One thing I would change on the instructions: after starting all the bolts in a chair and BEFORE putting the cushion on, stand it upright and wriggle it around to level it. Then while it's upright you have easy access to all the bolts to tighten them. Put the cushion on last. ... show more

This table set was exactly what I needed but th box came damaged which cause one of the chairs to be damaged and the table to have 2 different knicks on it. The table is very heavy and solid. It was easy to put together but time consuming if you’re putting it together by yourself

Very disappointed with both Ashley and Amazon. Ordered this as we were very impressed with this dining set when we saw it at our friend's house. They got it from NFM. We also initially thought of getting it from NFM but local store went out of stock. But found this in Amazon. First, I was jittery ordering online but then ordered it as I always had good experience with Amazon. But I was wrong. Delivery box was broken. Delivery guy had to pick up each item from the box separately and deliver. I was afraid to assemble initially. But started to assemble after confirming with Amazon service. As we assembled, we found one or other issue in every part: Chips almost in every part; Some chair frames slots were such that you cannot fir the legs or seat cushions; Wood finishing on chairs was rough. It was pulling the clothes. Due to all these issues, we stopped assembling after 3 chairs. Note: Item said sold & shipped by Amazon. No reference to Ashley. So, not sure these issues are because of Amazon or Ashley. My friends bought it from NFM and had no issues. Amazon service issues: Called Amazon and asked for a replacement. To my surprise, they said this does not qualify a replacement. They asked me to return and order a new one. And by that time, they increased the price by $140. And when I asked to adjust price as per my old order, Amazon said they cannot offer that. I just have to buy new one at new price. After multiple chats, they offered me $5 gift certificate for a $700 item. Just wowwwwwww!!! Overall, very disappointed with this purchase. Will be returning. ... show more

I really wish I looked more into this table and chair set. The chairs are comfortable but not as sturdy as I thought it would be, I have to keep on tightening the screws. The table is kinda too small for six chairs. Was easy to assemble. Very lightweight. The table is also very fragile too much on it makes the screws loose. The all in all appearance is beautiful and fits right in my little dinning area. But I can see imma have to buy another dinning table in a year or so, so I don’t think it’s worth the money ... show more
