I bought 3 Zelen Warm Gray pieces and I've lazily copied my review from the two drawer night stand and just made a few edits -- but this is a real review and all the furniture is perfect after a few months of use... For the price and the declared materials of construction, I was expecting a mediocre piece of flat pack furniture that would show up banged up and broken. Then I expected a two month long fight to get a replacement or replacements parts. Then, of course, I expected that it would take an hour to assemble and that it would become structurally less stable every time it was moved to clean around it ... I've been down this road before, but who wants to spend $1000+ on a night stand from ABC? I'm just going to spill wine and candle wax all over it. OH MY, WAS I WRONG! This little beaut comes intact, well packed, pre-built and all you have to do is screw on the handles (handles are metal). It seems very sturdy. The veneer is an attractive gray and seems quite tough. Don't get me wrong, this is budget furniture, there's no solid wood here. But, it's just what I needed and I'm very happy I took a gamble on buying from this line of furniture on the net. Two thumbs up. This product is vastly superior to the flimsy and overpriced garbage they peddle at West Elm (I also don't fancy your chances of getting FREE SHIPPING from those muppets either). Note that this is a 7 drawer unit, the design makes it look like it has 9, but that's just the aesthetic. The bottom drawers are very deep. I had one issue with this item. It arrived with a handle missing. I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement. It took about a week but no big deal. ... show more

Very pleasantly surprised by the quality! It looks just the picture, very sturdy, drawers are smooth, and I am very happy with my purchase. The only thing I would have done differently is to pay for the upgraded delivery. This thing weighed way more than what the shipping weight is listed at. My invoice said actual weight was almost 300 lbs. Oh and the packaging.. insanely well packed. Worth the money, well recommended. ... show more

    • Absolute Junk. Beware.

This is a product that looks wonderful online and in the showroom. The showroom piece appeared well crafted but we are now highly suspicious that it had been specially reinforced for showroom use. Certainly can't prove that but we just had our chest of drawers delivered and the poor quality was immediately evident. So disappointing after excitedly waiting for delivery. We noticed right away that 4 of the 7 drawers did not close flush with the chest and the spacing between the drawers and from top to bottom was noticeably inconsistent. After removing all of the drawers we found that every single track on every drawer had loose, broken and missing mounting screws, making the tracks and drawers uneven and difficult to open and close. The drawers in use range from loose and wobbly when opening to so tight they need to be gently forced. You can expect to have to remount at least some if not all of the tracks and hope that the mounting wood doesn't shred due to poor quality. Overall, the quality and look of this unit is very poor and we are deeply disappointed. We do not recommend this unit. ... show more

The product came assembled, wasn't expecting that! They shipped it on a big wooden pallet and then boxed up thoroughly tight. Upon opening the box, almost everything was great. Only problem is that a top facing corner was scratched up pretty hard. I think if I find some matching color wood color filler I can hide it. You definitely want to strap this in to a wall, it tends to lean forward and rock easily on carpet, I had to stuff cardboard under the legs to straighten it out. On the back it comes with some straps you can use, but I went for stronger earthquake straps myself. ... show more

Dresser arrived in pristine condition; fully assembled. Drawers glide easily, are deep and the handles are sturdy. It is heavy and took 'man-effort' to move into place. With care and gentle hands, this piece should last. While photos make the dresser look 'brown', the dresser is BLACK.

I'd give this 2.5 Stars if I could. I was looking for a narrow dresser to fit into my grey bedroom, and while this product does look nice and does the job, it is not the quality I was hoping for. Fake wood, cheaply made, staples showing in back which is not a solid piece but rather a fake black backing. Also own the matching night stand. Middle drawers are double drawers, so are deep, and having 7 drawers does provide lots of storage. Overall, its probably higher quality than other cheaply made dressers, but if you shop around at local stores, can likely find something made from real wood for a similar price. ... show more

First piece of furniture I purchased for my new home. I love that its large enough to fit all my clothes. Did have small amount of damage, but I can hardly be upset, as shipping something of that weight is tricky.

The dresser is nice, but it arrived completely damaged. The drawer tracks were stripped from the side plywood on multiple drawers, the back staples were falling off so the backing is falling off, and there are scuffs and scratches all over. Although it was nice to have it arrive almost completely assembled, we just had to attach the hardware, we are not happy that we are going to have to find a way to re-attach the plywood and screws since the drawers will not hold steady right now. The finish wood is nice and the dresser is a good size, just not happy about the condition it arrived in. ... show more
