Very good for the price. It holds the slide firmly without a lot of juggling (note: it's for parallel-sided slides and dovetail front or rear sights). The design is good, the build quality is good. The only complaint I have, and it's a minor complaint, is that the frame is calibrated but the sight pusher doesn't have a corresponding index mark. I purchased the (black) Sporgain sight pusher yesterday, received it today, and have already removed sights from my hellcat. I had to tap the center remover block a couple times for the sight to loosen up, but it did its job. I didn't have to attach it to my bench. BTW, i was able to push the front as well. I've done a lot of custom work on various 2a items. Never really changed out sights on any. I recently decided to change that. I bought this to do it and what a breeze. Buy this asap. Change your sights. You won't regret it. You don't need to screw to a table or anything. I didn't tape my slide, nothing. The rubber on all the contact surfaces was well thought out. Worked for the price. Could use a narrow or punch point, but allowed me to do what I needed. If using on a regular basis for many different sights, you may want to find one that has more adaptability.
