No one likes getting caught in a rainstorm without an umbrella. I have kept an umbrella in my car forever, but sometimes there is more than just me and 2 people under an umbrella guarantees that both people will get wet. This umbrella is large enough for a couple of people to use in a pinch while it collapses to a small size and fits in the car seat back pocket. The traditional "golf umbrellas" don't fold down and only fit in the trunk in a sedan. Not very helpful when it's pouring cats and dogs. I was skeptical that the umbrella would easily work, but I am very happy to share that it worked with just a simple press of a button. And it folds back up by pushing the same button. This is great as no one likes fighting with an umbrella that doesn't easily retract. This is an easy umbrella to operate when trying to get back in the car parked in an open lot during a heavy rainstorm without ending up drenched. The diameter of the umbrella is helpful to stay mostly dry during a heavy rain shower. The added size helps as rain rarely just comes straight down so provides more protection from angles.

I wouldn't say I am a connoisseur of umbrellas because where I'm at there's more sun than rain but it never hurts to be prepared. All of the umbrellas that I have are just travel size and I've been looking for something bigger, maybe even for two people. Whenever I do find myself and my spouse in a situation where it's raining I'm the one that ends up getting wet. All that changes now, this umbrella is huge. It's so big it fits both of us underneath it perfectly. It has the little flaps in the middle of the umbrella to let air go through in case of gust of wind comes by it doesn't turn your umbrella inside out. It's not as compact but I wouldn't expect it to be as it's triple the size of a compact umbrella. I really like the navy blue color and the wood handle gives it a luxury feel. The other benefit of this large umbrella is my wife and I can go for a walk in the summertime and use this to give us shade.

Provides a large area of coverage and protection from the outdoor elements. It is of substantial size once opened and is large enough to cover two average sized people. One press of the button opens and also collapses it. But, when it is time to be put away, it won’t be easy to fit into a pocket or small space on your person. So, if compactness is an important issue, this has to be taken into account.

This is a nice large umbrella. Plenty big enough for two people to get under it. The canopy is made where a wind gust will blow through it. That is a super nice feature to have on a windy day. The rib structure is made of metal and what looks to be fiberglass. It looks put together pretty well. You press the button on the handle, and the umbrella pops up and opens. You press it again, and the canopy closes. You have to manually collapse the pole. It comes with a nice little sleeve to store it in. Overall, it folds up real small, and it's a pretty nice umbrella to carry around.

Very nice umbrella that's huuuuge! I haven't gotten to use it yet as it hasn't rained in a while, but it seems sturdy and well made. I love the handle. It comes with a pouch to store it in that has a snap, but the pouch is a bit loose and can slide right off. I'm thinking if they added a second snap or elastic or something it might be more secure. But that's not a deal breaker for me, I'll probably lose it the first time I use it anyways.

This umbrella feels solid and well-made, and it seems like it should hold up well in windy conditions. It’s a bit smaller than I expected for a golf umbrella, but it’s actually a great size for one person. The handle feels like good quality, and it even comes with a carrying pouch, which is a nice touch. Overall, a dependable choice for solo use.

There are a number of good things about this umbrella. The automatic open/close mechanism works well. The 54" size is large enough for two people. It appears to be sturdy though I haven't tested it in a high wind. Unlike so many folding umbrella, it's easy to put this one back in its correctly sized carry bag. I like the wood handle. And at todays price of $23.80 (after a 15% discount) it is a good value. The negatives are that it is bulkier than other folding umbrellas, but that's only because it is bigger than most.

This umbrella is awesome!! Don't stand too close to anyone when opening it up. It's super fast and powerful! It's a true navy color and very good looking. The wooden handle has a suede strap for carrying. It is a little difficult to retract it. You can use the push button to retract the fabric part of the umbrella but you have to use a little muscle to close it all the way up. The umbrella has a sheath to store it in and what is nice is that it has a snap to secure it in. It's not too tight either. Not recommended for elderly folks. Overall, I think this is fairly priced and will definitely recommend to others.
