  • A terrific shoe at a great price
Size: 9 Wide Color: W51 Green Gum
These are my first pair of minimalist shoes and I am very pleased with them. I have narrow feet and normally wear sneakers in a size 9.5. I purchased these in 9.5 wide and they fit perfectly. The shoes hug my feet and are very light. Inside, they have a thin removable insole that helps when walking on hard surfaces. I be wearing them with the insole because it does not reduce their flexibility and I’m not quite ready to go with a fully minimal foot bed. The quality is really good. The shoes are light as a feather and as comfortable as a pair of slippers. They also look great with jeans or shorts. These are an excellent choice whether you are new to minimalist shoes or just want a pair that doesn’t cost a fortune. ... show more

  • Great budget friendly barefoot hiking shoes
Size: 10 Wide Color: W51 Green Gum
I don't have any complaints. I bought these for a week long festival where I was walking a lot on gravel and dirt roads every day. They performed very well and still look almost like new. They have good support and traction. I can feel the terrain under my feet, which gives a natural walking experience. You do need to watch out for sharp stones, because you will feel them. But that's true of any barefoot shoes. It was really only an issue at night when I couldn't see well where I was stepping. I would definitely wear these hiking during the day again. ... show more

  • Seem fine. The laces are too short
Size: 11 Wide Color: W51 All Black
The fit seems pretty good. I like the wide toe box and they are comfortable. Hopefully they will last. The shoe laces are too short. I had to buy a longer pair to replace the laces that came with the shoes.

  • Great basic minimalist shoes
Size: 10 Wide Color: W51 Dark Grey
As a newcomer to minimalist/barefoot shoes, I find these to be a perfect middle ground between traditional shoes and more "pure" barefoot options. These still have a bit of padding on the bottom (can be easily removed for a more barefoot feel) and they are a bit more narrow than say my xero glenns but they are super comfortable and easy to walk and run in. I have fairly narrow feet and typically wear size 11 with other brands but size 10 fit me perfectly. ... show more

  • Top notch for the money
Size: 13 Wide Color: W51 All Black
These shoes feel great on the feet on flat surfaces, but you will feel every rock and bump on an unimproved road. I bought these for gym shoes and immediately bought another pair just to wear around. They are quite comfortable and breathe pretty well. They aren’t very slip resistant on semi wet surfaces and the sole of the shoe feels like it’s made out of more dense rubber. So I expect the sole to hold out for a while but at the expense of some grip. For the money you pay they are doing the job very well. I’d like to see what next in store once the materials get better. ... show more

  • Good shoes.
Size: 9 Wide Color: W51 Dark Blue
They are so comfortable and totally barefoot for those barefoot lovers. However I think they were too big on the front ,, but they work fine. Next time I will order them same size not bigger than my size…

  • Love em
Size: 9 Wide Color: W51 All Black
Had the chance to wear them on a few recent hikes. Definitely very comfy and the price point is perfect. True to size and just enough sole and cushion.

  • Good shoes but not as barefoot as they say
Size: 10 Wide Color: W51 Dark Grey
I bought these shoes after getting the "WHITIN Men's Wide Minimalist Barefoot Sneakers Ultimate Relaxation" style thinking they would be the same. They're not. They are much narrower than the "relaxation" shoes, which I think are the best cheap barefoot shoes you can buy mostly because of the ultra wide toebox. So be careful, these are much narrower and if you have wide feet, you will either need to upsize or get another variety and hope for the best. Check the photo to see how much narrower they are than the wide barefoot shoes. That's the reason why I only gave it four stars. That being said, I decided to keep them anyway (after first wanting to return them). Although they're narrower than the wide barefoot version, there's still plenty of room for toe splay and the narrower fit gives a little more stability in the instep. Your foot doesn't slide around as much, but it's also a little confining. I'm going to use them as a transitional running shoe. They are zero-drop and have a wide-ish toebox, so they're better than a traditional pointy-toed running shoe, but they have some stack height and padding in the insole. In fact, I think that's the best use for these - as a transitional mid-point between old school pointy shoes and full-on barefoot shoes. The tread is aggressive and would probably do very well on a trail run. The sole is still flexible like a barefoot shoe, which is good, but the added height provides more protection. They also look pretty good, but a lot of that comes down to the lack of toebox width, which eliminates the clown-shoe look of a lot of barefoot shoes but at the cost of not really being a barefoot shoe. I'm learning a lot about Whitin shoes and while I like them a lot, I hope they start making shoes that are more like the wide barefoot shoes than these. It seems like with these shoes, they wanted to make barefoot shoes, but didn't want to go too far to alienate regular shoe buyers. It does make for a decent transitional sneaker, but if they're serious about barefoot shoes, they need to put that extra-wide toebox on everything that they call barefoot shoes. UPDATE: I've worn these for a few runs now and also for a few walks. I like them more every time I use them. They're OK for running, but they are perfect as a walking shoe. I'll keep running in them as I don't want to wear them out too quickly. Once it gets warmer out I'll start running outdoors and give another update. ... show more
