I'm so glad I took a chance and purchased this pillow. I noticed a difference in just the first few hours I slept on it. It feels very nice and comfortable. Being a side sleeper it supports my neck and my shoulders and keeps me aligned. I woke up pain-free. At first the smell was super strong I could not use it for a few weeks. But I left it out in a separate room and aired it out. Now it doesn’t smell at all and is such a great pillow for support. I wake up without headaches anymore.

I really don't leave reviews, it's not my schtick....unless I really like/hate something. I purchased these pillows after looking at a bunch of options with arm holes and other features to help with shoulder pain. I was pretty skeptical since I don't like memory foam pillows, but my shoulders kept folding underneath me while I was (side) sleeping and causing me sever pain. These pillows are very comfortable and supportive. I need a firmer pillow so I added the additional fluff they send and it's the perfect height to keep my shoulders from folding. It's super comfy to keep it inline with my body; with my head at the wide end and I hug the pillow giving support to my other arm. The curve just wraps around tightly so I have good support. The pillow cases are nice texture, but they need to be washed before using, but no additional smells after washing and letting the pillow breath per the instructions.

This pillow system is the best! I love the customization, support and softness. I decided write a review after almost a year of constant and exclusive use to give a honest feedback. I never had an issue with neck pain, which is a first for me. I held on the my favorite old pillow just in case and found I didn't need it after the first week. I have since thrown it away after about 5 faithful years of solid wash/dry/use. I usually have to acclimate to a traditional, store bought pillow ($10-60 ones that claim they are for back/ side sleepers ) and the pain usually starts after the first night, crescendos over 7 days and then subsides over another week. Never happened with pillow. I let the base and extra filling air out for 72 hours after opening, which I highly recommend. Not tossing in the dryer, which is an option, but I can't see how that will get you the best value for the investment of your most treasured rest to shortcut the process. Just be patient and let it acclimate to the room it will spend the most time in, similar to wood flooring in your home. Because I chose the slower method, I still never have smelled any chemicals or off putting odors. I intially used the pillow as it was originally packaged in order to get a sense of the support for the first 21 days. I determined at that point, I wanted to see what adding the extra filling would be like. Not because I had neck pain, but because I notice I tend to squish the filling to whatever side I am on for the longest amount of time. GAME CHANGER! I have long term support and comfort that bounces back after constant use and learned bunching (I am trying to not bunch under my neck for support. Know that will take time because it is a learned behavior from bad support from other 'back/side sleeper' pillows that don't live up to stated claims). The zipper on the case is durable, even when I noticed I was pushing the filling to one side, it held up. It was never so bulky that your natural sleep patterns won't adjust to and even out. I went through the intial summer heat and the 'second' NYC summer without feeling like my head was cooking. I would not say this particular pillow system offers any direct cooling effect that you will noticeably feel. I would say that, the hottest summer days, with a satin pillowcase, it wasn't as bad as I have had in the past. 80-90 degree heat and heavy humidity, I didn't wake up constantly with my head in a pool of sweat. It is not a "cooling effect" so much as, you don't sweat at all, in an humidity or temperature. It's more like, a reasonable person shouldn't find fault or sweat as much with a box or shop fan. The context of like for like, not a dedicated AC or Temp/Climate control system throughout an entire house is not equivalent. Please, leave room for bias. Especially, in these reviews. I am in an apartment, and treated myself/experimented with this pillow. I love it and will recommend/gift it to anyone I can! Happy resting!

I bought this pillow with the hopes that it would help with my occasional snoring. It did not help with snoring. It is a comfortable pillow, though. There was no bad smell with mine (I saw some reviews mention this). I like that it comes a bag of stuffing so the pillow can be adjusted. Just make sure to keep the extra stuffing away from animals. The extra curves on this pillow didn't do anything for me except make it harder to fit a case over it (pillows have to match in my house). Overall this is a nice pillow but it fell short of expectations. If you can get this 15 to 20 dollars cheaper then it's worth it otherwise I would pass.

This Sidney sleep pillow is 100 times better than all the other pillows! There are twelve super good reasons to get this pillow. First reason is that you sleep up higher. Second reason is that you never wake up with neck pain or strain. Third reason is that you can change the loft situation. Forth the cover is soft. Fifth reason is that the pillow is so soft that; I promise you that you will have the best sleep you’ll ever have! The sixth reason is the pillow looks so cute on your bed! Seventh reason is you can wash your pillow case but I prefer that you buy a pillow case to put over your pillow case so you don’t have to wash it. The eighth reason is because of the super good sleep you have, you’ll be able to get the most stuff you’ve ever gotten done in your life. The ninth reason is that your shoulders sit up so so much higher than all other pillows and these Sidney sleep pillows are perfect for side sleepers. The tenth reason is that you can flip your pillow went way you want; it works either way. The eleventh reason is you can get eny of these colors: hot pink, gray, blue and white but I prefer white. The last reason is you feel like it’s totally worth for what you paid for! Here’s a a quick look at this Sidney sleep pillow: you feel like you’re lying on cushion.
