These pillows have helped me sleep a lot better, but they have a relatively minor flaw which prevents them from getting 100%. The stuffing used in them "molds" or "clumps" together a little too readily, so the pillow gets misshapen as you sleep, leading to it being hard to utilize properly. A good deal of the time I wake up with my head angled towards my shoulder that's not being slept on, due to the stuffing all having migrated to the headboard side of the pillow, thus it becomes more of a wedgen than a pillow. This can be counteracted a bit by fluffing it well before you sleep and making sure it's the only pillow you're using. The "cooling" effect works, but only if you don't use a pillowcase. Unless you're directly in contact with the fabric, it just feels like a normal pillow. This may not be a problem, as there are no pillowcases that fit this pillow properly, so I ended up not using one, as the excess fabric of a normal case bunches up in the shoulder spot which was uncomfortable. That's not the pillows fault, after all, it's shape is why you want it. Just be aware of this when purchasing. Overall a decent set of pillows for the price, with a few nagging issues. ... show more

I bought this because I have been having a lot of neck and shoulder trouble. It is so much easier to get comfortable and fall asleep! Still waiting for the pain to subside but it's only been a couple of days and I might need some chiropractic help too. I don't regret buying this pillow though! It's a little on the soft side and that's about my only complaint! Also it comes in a vacuum bag, it will poof up as it sits I promise!! ... show more

Short version: Pros Adjustable Nice soft outer shell One side has a cooler feel to it Bag to store any stuffing you take out Geat for side AND back sleepers #1 pro- it drastically reduced the snoring from my husband. Totally unexpected. Cons None so far I am a very picky pillow person. I've been through dozens of pillows over the years never finding THE one. I stumbled onto this pillow one day looking through Amazon's Lightening Deals. It was a really good price, and I've never tried one of these shaped pillows before so I decided to get it. It was a 2 pk so my husband tried it as well. We both love them. I have taken out some of the stuffing from mine, my husband hasn't taken any out. I keep the stuffing in the zip bag the pillows came in. The bag is an added convenience just for that purpose. I'm a toss and turn sleeper. I can never find a pillow that works for both positions. Well, until now that is. This pillow is great for back AND side sleeping. I keep more stuffing on the sides than in the middle. It's so nice. I have tried other adjustable latex pillows, I guess maybe it's the shape of this one that makes it work? There is room for the sides to stay fluffier while there is less in the center. A friend bought a set at the same time I did, I had to show her the awesome lightening deal of course, and she says it has reduced her husband's snoring, too! So we were both pleasantly very surprised by this unexpected benefit. I did get this on a lightening deal but it's one of those things I can still recommend even though the deal may be over. Shoot the reduction in snoring by my husband alone makes this pillow worth it even if I hadn't ended up liking it. But I did. And so glad it was a 2pk or we would have never experienced the reduced snoring!!! I am a very happy customer! Oh... one more thing yes there was a slight odor in the beginning, common with latex pillows. But it was not so terrible. We were able to use them right away. I was super excited to try these pillows since I only sleep on side and my arms have been falling asleep throughout the night. I used it for a week and it did not help with my shoulder pain or with my arms constantly falling asleep. However, I have been using it as a pillow to prop up my back and provide extra support and it has really helped with my back and hip pain! I really love how the fabric is different on each side as well. One side is cooling and the other is a soft and has a warmer type of fabric. I have been using these pillows for over a month now and it has held its shape extremely well. A normal pillow case works perfectly and they unzip to easily wash the covers. I would definitely recommend this pillow to anyone who is needing extra support! ... show more

I've been dealing with a torn labrum in my shoulder as well as spinal compression in my neck and upper back for some years now. These issues are to a point that they interrupt my sleep. In addition to that, I tend to run a little hot when I sleep, and regular pillows tend to make me sweat. I gave these a shot last night. My dudes and ladies, I slept like a damned rock. I got my first uninterrupted night's sleep in almost 4 years with these. The thickness on them is just right to keep my neck and shoulder from getting out of wack, and the material and foam keep them cool. Very comfortable.
