I received this product with a lot of damage. It was easy to put together. I also put some wooden glue on the areas that was damaged.this is a two person job but have to put it together. It turned out pretty good.

While they did supply build instructions, they were not very intuitive and you really needed to carefully examine the pieces to make sure that holes for cams and pins aligned appropriately. You also need to make sure that the inner support panels are properly placed because you can actually have inner panels 180 degrees out of position and the holes for the door hinges can be on the wrong side of the inner support walls. With all that being said, the cabinet is sturdy and it’s appearance is pleasing to the eye. One final note… You will need another person to assist with the assembly at certain points.

I love the look of this cabinet, but it is made from very cheap particle board, and was not packaged well at all. the black covering was chipped in several areas, the metal legs were scratched, and some of the hardware/assembly pieces were loose in the box and not labeled. The only thing between the cabinet pieces and the cardboard box was a thin layer of styrofoam. The box is also VERY heavy and the instructions are horrible. It’s a pretty complex piece to put together but according to the instructions it should only take you 6 steps (that’s how NOT detailed they are). I guess you get what you pay for with this. I at least expected better packaging

Good: once it was finally assembled it looked beautiful. Very sturdy and gold finishes are really pretty. Bad: ugggg this took us two days to put together. We were beyond frustrated with the lack of directions, we had to completely take it apart, because the middle piece was put in wrong again lack of clear directions. You will need to also use your own screwdriver and drill, the two little tools that come with it are not enough.

My friend put it together today, it’s very heavy, solid, and pleasantly surprised how nice it looks! Can’t beat the price too! See my pics! I had on hand some Velcro stickers I added to the inside to give it a soft bumper. I highly recommend some kind of rubber bumper but it’s not a necessity. Good luck in your search!
