  • Fit my GIANT Head - and sound Great
I have a truly massive head. One of my biggest problems with OTE headphones is that they pinch my head and give me headaches. I can't wear a one size fits all hat - but I can wear these headphones. The R and L indicaitons inside are really useful. The buttons are in the right places and feel natural. The audio quality is great and they soudn awesome connected to both my Galaxy S24 Ultra and my LG Gram. The Bluetooth is great and I can walk a significant distance without issues. The battery life is superb and as a bonus they charge really fast on a 45 watt charger - 5 minutes will get you another 2 hours of listening time. They fold up really well. Getting them in the included case, which is also high quality, took some getting used too. Another note on the case - it has plenty of room for the charger and wired cable. They are not too heavy and comfortable for all day wear. I got them at an amazing price - but even at MSRP they would be an excellent buy. They may be from Shures "budget" line but they don't feel that way at all. The audiophile reviews on headphone websites are pretty correct. These are well priced and have good highs and lows, good battery life, and are comfortable. I love them a lot more than my far more expensive JBL Studio heaphones - which have now be relegated to a secondary pair. ... show more

  • Great but some small flaws
I got these headphones on sale for 100 and I must admit, I was a little skeptical. But ya know what, these are great headphones! No issues with connectivity range is good. I enjoy the sound quality as well. I can't get the controls to work right but that may just be on me. In not being patient enough to actually learn the controls. They fit great and comfort is nice. I dont ever have any fatigue with them on. I never had issues with them ever being charged when I pick them up so battery life is great. That being said, I do abuse them. I use them to walk, bike, cut grass, at work, and work out in. I wish there was any easy way to clean the cuffs. Being cream colored and all they tend to get dirty fast. I also wish they had an auto shut-off. Perhaps that's in the settings as well(?). I dont know. Lastly, I will say that the paint on these suck! Not durable at all. I dont even try anymore. Other than that, great headphones. ... show more

  • Comfort and Quality Comfort and Quality
Comfort with Quality in these Shure Aonic 40 headphones. I love that these are super comfortable to wear especially for a extended amount of time. They sound great and you can modify the sound you prefer through the app that's available online. The fact that these are easy to charge and they last up to 25 hrs is convenient when traveling by car, plane or train on your daily commute. I'm highly satisfied with the price too! They are very comparable to other high end quality headphone products. The case that comes with these is outstanding. I love the fact that on the inside of the case it shows a diagram to remind you on how to store them when your ready to put them away. There is also a pocket inside to hold your charging cables. ... show more

  • Great sound and portability!
I love these headphones. My husband picked them out for me for Christmas over a year ago and I have adored them ever since. The battery lasts an impressive amount of time and charges fast. The connection range is very strong, and they pair quickly with devices. The sound quality is wonderful and crisp. It comes with an aux cord, charging cord and case that all pack really well for travel. They fold compactly and are a great pick for work or school travel. Would buy again! ... show more

  • This first time I’ve ever been disappointed by SHURE
I’m a lifelong die-hard fan of SHURE. After a few hours of denial, I just had to hop on here and let others know why I’m returning them. It comes down to 3 simple things: noise cancelling, build quality, and Bluetooth multipoint. The noise cancelling barely does anything. No exaggeration, I can’t even really tell when noise cancelling is on. Things don’t get quieter, they just sound slightly different. The build quality is heinous. Super cheap plastic and the hinges literally grind and squeak as you put the headphones on. So much so that paint started flaking off of the headphones within 10 minutes. Finally, Bluetooth multipoint isn’t a feature, it’s a nuisance. Multipoint is marketed to allow you to stay connected to two devices at the same time. While that sounds like a good thing, in practice, it makes these headphones genuinely unusable. If I want to use these on my computer for a WebEx call for example, after I pair them, they are also still connected to my phone. Now while I’m in the middle of talking, if I get a text on my phone or open an app with audio, they switch to my phone and break the connection with my call on the computer. It’s not seamless, it just switches back and forth even when you don’t want to. On top of that, I then wasn’t even able to get them to connect to my iPad until I went through the app and erased it’s Bluetooth connection memory and forgot the headphones from my iPhone and Mac. So in summation, multipoint makes these unusable and you don’t have the option to disable it and use them like normal headphones. I was really excited for the USB-C conferencing mode as these are the only headphones on the market with that feature, but I didn’t even try it out since everything else about these headphones is terrible. These shouldn’t be priced a penny over $49. The only thing keeping these from a 1 star rating is the phenomenal sound quality. They sound incredible. But the cons outweigh that. UPDATE: I bought a second pair just to make sure I didn’t get a junk pair, and everything I wrote above applies to the second pair as well. So it seems like that’s just how these headphones are. I really wanted these to work out, but I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere at this price point. ... show more

  • Paint Does not last long.
After one year, the paint has started to peel, and the battery doesn't last as long anymore.

  • Overall lived up to expectations!
As a musician I appreciate tone, quality, EQ, feel and anything that helps bring music to life. Purchased these for $99 Prime deal. Now I’ve got wireless over ear headphones to be on the move and in my own world. These are great headphones across every genre. They don’t compare to Bose Quiet Comforts but for $99 these kick butt and come with a sweet case! ... show more

  • Skull crusher 40s
These sound amazing and are the best sounding headphones I’ve gotten with great anc not better than sonys (from other people’s experiences not mine). others are alright in sound in my ears but these deliver crisp sounds for everything you hear BUT these over time crush your head and just feels like it’s still on your head when it’s already off. The comfort ruins this for me they need to change everything and make these headphone more comfortable rather than “luxurious” I know they aren’t trying to be that but you can see that they are trying to be minimal with the look they look great but don’t feel great. my $20 dollar gaming headset feels 100% softer and more comfortable on the head. The ear pieces are firm with barely any “squish” and same with the head rest it feels uncomfortable like a stick sitting on your head with pressure on top . Overall amazing sound for this price point especially with the 140 prime deal but I will be trying the Shure 50s after I return these ones sadly. Was really looking forward to these even my friend talked about the sound being great but the comfort really through me off. Also sucks the mic can’t work with pcs without sounding dumb ... show more
