Awesome! Best pillows I've ever purchased in my entire life and given the price, one of the best deals as well. The removable soft knit cover is of exceptional quality and the pillows I received had equally perfect, uniform amounts of shredded memory foam stuffing. Keep in mind, that given the economical packaging these pillows will be compressed and lumpy upon arrival. If you manipulate and "beat" the pillow for a few minutes you can have all the bits of memory foam fluffed up and spread evenly throughout in like 10 minutes. I suspect many of these reviews of lumpy and uneven pillows just simply did not touch the pillow at all, leaving it to unevenly decompress right out of the package. Use common sense! My sleep quality has improved immensely since acquiring these pillows. They're soft and plush enough to allow my head to sink in, but with enough firmness to mold to and support the contours of my head and neck. Quite literally the perfect blend of comfort and support. I have not had any issues with heat buildup or having to wake up and readjust the pillow in the middle of the night. Seriously for ~ $30 for a 2 pack?? You CANNOT go wrong here. Will definitely keep Plixio in mind for all my future pillow purchases & will be recommending them to friends and family. EDIT: I originally purchased these as accessory pillows to prop me up in bed as a supplement to Plixio's contour pillow which I used as my main sleeping pillow After a few weeks, I found the contour pillow simply too firm & the rise too high for my liking so I decided to give these a shot for sleeping. Needless to say, I returned the contour pillow and these are now my main pillows! There is a slight "new memory foam smell" right outta the package, but nothing obtrusive at all. These pillows cannot be used immediately. You need to work the pillows by pulling back and forth and even digging in there and pulling apart the pieces. It took me about two weeks of doing that about 10 minutes to each pillow nightly and I would also flip them over each night so they were not always laying on the same side. It was well worth it. They fluffed up nicely. Mine are firm too. My shoulder was hurting so I bought these pillows and I’m waking up each day in less pain. I hope my review helps. ... show more

I was interested in getting a two pack set of pillows because I needed a new one for my house and my boyfriend’s. The one I kept at mine has been perfect! It’s the exact amount of firmness and softness that I need. I was excited to use the other one at my boyfriend’s, but upon using it the first night I noticed it felt way too firm and elevated. I tossed a bit through the night and ended up sleeping in way later than I normally do. The next night was pretty bad. I woke up through the night, had trouble staying asleep and then got up early, finally giving up. I think it just needs to be broken in a bit, but the other one didn’t need it. I expect my boyfriend will use it when I’m not there so it’ll probably be flat by the time I get back. Either way, I’m still glad I got them, at least one of them is perfect. ... show more

The pillows are definitely plump. They fluff up if you follow the directions great. However, I would say these are extra firm pillows. I woke up with a sore neck after the first night. Not a big deal. They're still great for laying in bed doing some work, or laying in bed and watching a movie, but to sleep on? I don't know, maybe if you enjoy pain, go ahead. I still can't turn my head a certain direction without pain. Also, there is absolutely nothing about these pillows that are cooling. In fact, they may get just as hot, if not, hotter than my normal crappy Walmart pillows. Overall, just not for me. I'll still use them though. However, if you like extra extra extra firm pillows, you will love this product. ... show more
