I have not found any Melts better than these. They cost more, but they are long lasting, smell like what they are called and have great scents. My favorites are Chocolate Mint and Chocolate Brownie. I do wish you would have a discount program if you've bought a lot. I've bought these at least 25 times. I use them because I smoke.......and don't like my house to smell bad. And it doesn't. People ask me all the time about them. Other brands only last a little while and are not strong. The only brand that is close is Better Homes and Gardens. ... show more

I will use the Vanilla Bean melts. They are hard to get out of the package. But I guess if I use a knife to cut around the square then it will work. My daughter tried them first. I have arthritis and it is difficult to try to push them out of the plastic tray. If I can figure this out so it is easy to use, then I will buy more of the Vanilla Bean ones. ... show more

I was really hoping this might be a wax to buy on a regular basis. It has a fantastic scent in the container. Very good vanilla scent. I was hopeful. It smelled great once melted in the wax melter. And then, within a couple of hours? The scent disappeared. Gone. Just a mere hint of fragrance. Very disappointing. Don't think we'll be buying this brand again unless they happen to pay attention to the reviews and figure out in their manufacturing process how to make the scent in their wax last longer. ... show more

Scent: Vanilla Bean
This has a lasting fragrance that goes throughout the house. I use a low heat electric diffuser. If I put a cube in it, then go out shopping and return an hour or so later, I am greeted with a wonderful fresh smell when I return.. Its not heavy or overwhelming, just nice. The fragrance is also longer lasting than any of the other brands I have tried.. My favorite is the Vanilla Bean. I have tried many of the other scents, and they are all delicious. There is one that makes me think of my Grandmas garden, but I always come back to vanilla. I cannot count how many times I have reordered from this excellent supplier. I cannot count how many times I have ordered this wonderful was melt. I now know a lot more about was melts than I did when I first wrote a review. A lot of judgment of was melts is based on two things -- the "throw" which is how far away you can smell the scent, and the time the fragrance endures. Ater trying some other brands, including some very expensive ones that have entire shops in many malls, these are the bet on both qualities. Although I have tried a number of Shorty's fragrances, and for example during Christmas some of the holiday scents were outstanding, my favorite is the Vanilla Bean. It makes your home smell friendly and fresh, and it persists longer than any other brand I have tried. The fragrance is not overwhelming but just nice. I put one in the bathroom of each floor of my house, and that is enough to make the whole house smell nice but not overtly "perfumey." ... show more

I'm no longer ordering any of these melts of any brand. They all advertise a wonderful scent, but in reality there is very little scent. I was told that these melts are old and their scent has expired. When I buy the same brand and scent from the brick and mortar store they smell nice and fresh.
