I wanted a smaller antenna for the day to day stuff. And this works pretty good. If I’m in the wood or trying for a VHF world record I might use something different but for the regular stuff, repeaters etc, it works as I hoped.

Perfectly adequate for what it is especially at the price. BNC is snug and the sound comes in better than it does with the original, larger antenna on my Uniden bc75xlt. So I am happy with the purchase.

Nice flexible design, but I ordered this and the CH-32 to compare and at 800 MHz, the CH-32 was 6-8 dB better when I got reception with this antenna. Most of the time I got no reception with this antenna.
