Bought this to swap out the longer antenna on a BC125AT when at a dirt track. Antenna had same/similar range to original, and the shorter length made it easier to carry without snagging on things.

Perfectly adequate for what it is especially at the price. BNC is snug and the sound comes in better than it does with the original, larger antenna on my Uniden bc75xlt. So I am happy with the purchase.

    • Makes radio deaf
Nice flexible design, but I ordered this and the CH-32 to compare and at 800 MHz, the CH-32 was 6-8 dB better when I got reception with this antenna. Most of the time I got no reception with this antenna.

I wanted a smaller antenna for the day to day stuff. And this works pretty good. If I’m in the wood or trying for a VHF world record I might use something different but for the regular stuff, repeaters etc, it works as I hoped.
