  • I can’t believe I haven’t already left a review! Love them!
Color: Black Size: Mini
You alone will know why an open ear headset might be something you’d want. So let me just focus on the function of these. Battery life is epic. I mean all day. I use them all day a lot of the time. Comfort is excellent. As I said, sometimes I wear them all day. I barely know they are there. In fact, sometimes I forget they are there. sizing is something we need to talk about. I am 6 feet tall and have a normal sized head I suppose and the mini ones fit me perfectly. I also have short hair so keep that in mind. The reason this is important is because the standard ones might give me a little more freedom without getting tight. I really don’t care about that because the minis allow me to sit in a chair without being uncomfortable when I put my head against the pillow. They can also be used in bed. In fact, sometimes I sleep all night long with these on, and they are still there when I wake up. If you can wear the mini and have a little bit of distance between your neck and head and you don’t have to look up a lot, get the mini! Otherwise get the standard ones and be aware that you probably won’t be able to put the back of your head against anything without removing them. Yes, you can pull them down and put them around your neck and they will stay there until you are ready to put them back over your ears. The sound is excellent. Especially once you download the app and boost the base a little. That is the essential feature of these with the extra speakers. However, they work just fine without the extra speakers as long as you were fine with a little treble. Since I normally listen. to podcasts, it doesn’t matter to me. I am just listening to some person‘s voice most of the time. However, if you use them in the classic mode, which means you are just getting the bone conduction, be aware that when you turn it up to a higher volume, you may feel some buzzing on your temples. I suppose I could look up the IP rating for these. I don’t know what it is. But I’ve worn them in the rain and not had any difficulties. USB-C charging is clutch! And I saved the best for last. The microphone call quality and noise, cancellation or voice isolation is really top notch. I mean, handset quality. I really prefer using these for telephone calls over AirPod earphones. These things blocked out a crowing rooster! I mean, wow! i’ve been using them for a few months and they seem to be pretty durable. No problems. The case that they come in is very nice and they charge quickly. I really don’t have a downside for these except maybe it would be nice to have the microphone extension Like the other model. But then again, the voice quality on these is so good. I don’t think I need it and that would just be something else in the way. I got these on sale. I don’t know what they cost right now. But if it is within your budget and you are considering them, just hit the buy button because they were great. ... show more

  • Great Sound and Battery Life — Make Sure You Get the Right Head Size
Color: Orange Size: Mini
⭐ Rating: 5/5 These are amazing overall, but sizing is something you definitely want to pay attention to before ordering. 🔧 What I used it for: Daily use for music, calls, and general listening around the house and while working. ✅ Pros: Very comfortable once you get the correct size Excellent battery life for how compact they are Bluetooth range is strong — works across the house without dropouts Good sound quality for everyday listening Lightweight and easy to wear for long periods ❌ Cons: Sizing is important — I had to exchange the first set for a smaller size If the fit is off, comfort and sound isolation will suffer 🧠 Details: Once I got the correct size, these fit really well and became extremely comfortable even during long listening sessions. Battery life has been impressive considering how small they are — I don’t feel like I’m constantly charging them. Bluetooth connection has also been solid, with no issues moving around the house while staying connected. The main thing to watch out for is getting the correct size from the start, since that makes a big difference in both comfort and performance. 🏁 Final Verdict: Excellent everyday headphones with great battery life, comfort, and range. Just make sure you measure your head and get the right size the first time — once fitted correctly, they’re fantastic. ... show more

  • Throw Away All Your Old Headsets - THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT!
Color: Black Size: Mini
The first thing I need to say is just get it!! This is such an awesome product and it is worth the price. The quality and functionality are superb, plus I love the simplicity because it's so easy to operate with the multi-function button. The sound is outstanding and the app gives you the capability to increase the base, the treble and overall volume among other things. These bone conduction headphones are the only way to go because your ears are left uncovered so you can hear other things going on around you, but at the same time doesn't really detract from the music you're listening to or even a phone conversation. Speaking of phone conversations, the built-in microphone is excellent and your phone calls are clear and crisp without any outside interference, whether you're talking or listening. This feature is just as good or better than the overall sound quality when music is playing. I was especially drawn to this device because I have an issue with the anatomy of my ears. For whatever reason I could never get earbuds to stay in my ears. Much as I tried they would always fall out which was extremely frustrating. Finally my doctor told me I fell into about 10% of the population that has this same problem, so the only solution for me was the over ear style. One last thing I need to mention is the sizing. Specifically the standard versus the mini. I'm a male, 5'11" and weigh 180lbs with basically a normal head and short hair. Based on some other reviews I got the mini and I'm glad I did. It's a perfect fit without too much play in the back of my head. I can easily move my head up, down and all around and the headphones stay in place with a great deal of comfort. Therefore, I would only recommend the standard size to someone with a larger head or someone with a lot of hair in the back of their head because you need the extra space provided by the standard size. Obviously I'm thrilled with this product and know you will be too! ... show more

  • A fantastic device with one major setback
Color: Black Size: Mini
As soon as I started encountering multiple problems from my AirPods Pro 2 after 2 years of abusive use, I was in the market for some alternatives. Some of the features I prioritize in wireless earbuds are long battery life, good sound quality, simple and consistent Bluetooth connectivity, and ease of use. After some research, I came across the OpenRun Pro 2 with many reviews stating its improved sound quality compared to its predecessor. I was initially hesitant given by its high price tag and my unfamiliarity with the SHOKZ brand, but I decided to give their flagship product a shot. Here are some of my thoughts after 4 months of use. I went to the SHOKZ website to print out their measuring guide to decide between their standard and mini variants. I was a good half-inch over the cutoff limit for the mini. I still decided to buy the mini after reading some reviews expressing some discomfort with the standard size. The mini fits snugly on the back of my head, leaving room for two fingers to fit in-between. Sure, the headband doesn't droop down to the nape as intended by the cover pictures. Needless to say, I think I made the right decision with the size. The packaging is excellent with the OpenRun Pro 2 arriving fully charged in a moderately sized silicone case. I have never once used the case in my 4 months of use, optioning to throw the headband naked into my cramped backpack while commuting. The headphone still holds up fine after daily torture. The controls are arguably intuitive with the volume rocker on the right side and the function control button on the left. You use your right thumb to control the volume and the labels protrude slightly so you know which button to press by feel. The function control button is on the left side next to the driver near the temple with 1 press for play/pause, 2 presses for next track, and 3 presses for previous track. Long press will activate the virtual assistant. I am very impressed with the battery life of this product. With moderate use at half volume, I can easily exceed 12 hours without needing to charge compared to 2-3 hours from my AirPods Pro 2. I have absolutely no complaints with battery management here. Bluetooth connectivity is also impressive, allowing me to walk around the house and my backyard with minimal dropouts. Multipoint pairing on this device is the best I have seen so far. I can seamlessly switch between my phone and my computer with the controls responding to the connected host currently playing any media. Latency is also not an issue at all. I am very particular with sound quality, and the OpenRun Pro 2 meets my expectation. The treble is crystal clear. The bass is quite lean and well-controlled, but the sub-bass doesn't extend far enough to be audible without EQ. Timbre sounds natural, but it can sound a bit "glassy" at times. While their mobile app is easy to navigate with product guides and online firmware updates, nearly all of their EQ presets are terrible. Bass boost is very muddy and bloated. Vocal is inferior to the classic preset. Treble boost straight up hurts my ears. My custom 5-band EQ is +3 and +2 on their 1st and 2nd band respectively and I tone down the 3kHz band by -1. Stick with either the standard or classic presets if needed. I often use my AirPods Pro 2 to listen to podcasts and audiobooks on the bed before going to sleep. As a side-sleeper, the OpenRun Pro 2 has been nothing short of amazing! With the excellent sound quality and battery life, I can watch YouTube videos or listen to audiobooks with my ear pressed against the pillow with little to no discomfort. The headband will still be on my head by the time I wake up. I can set an alarm without disturbing family members with the drivers next to my ears. This is a terrific sleeping aid for side-sleepers. My biggest complaint by far with the OpenRun Pro 2 has to be the volume control. I wish there is more variability of sound intensity with the discrete volume control, especially between 30-40% volume. I will often walk around my neighborhood late at night, jamming through my music playlist with little ambient noise. At 30%, the volume intensity is too quiet to enjoy the music, but stepping up one unit results in the device suddenly being too loud. It's as if they opted to switch the gain at those levels and it disappoints me to hear this issue persist despite multiple firmware updates. There is never a sweet spot of volume intensity between 30-40%. Overall, it has been a pleasure to use the OpenRun Pro 2. The headband fits nicely around my head. The sound quality is impressive. Battery life is spectacular! And it is forever anointed on my head as I sleep. There are some features I have yet to test such as microphone quality, sweat resistance, and bone conductivity. Yes, classic mode uses bone conductivity, but I have not used that preset enough to fully develop solid opinions. I guess if you want a more mid-forward tonality, then go with classic, however, my custom preset has been sufficient enough for daily use. If they could somehow fix the volume issue, I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for a substitute wireless earbud/headphone if their budget supports it. ... show more

  • Great for Runners, Secure Fit and Good Sound
Color: Black Size: Mini
I've always been curious about bone conduction headphones, and I finally decided to try the SHOKZ New OpenRun Pro 2, primarily for my wife. She's a runner who has struggled to find any earbuds that actually stay in her ears during her runs; they always just fall out. I'm happy to report that these Shokz headphones have completely solved that problem for her, which is a huge win! She's been using them for a while now on her runs, and the open-ear design truly makes a difference. They rest comfortably over the ears and transmit sound through the cheekbones, leaving the ear canals open. This not only ensures they stay securely in place no matter how much she moves, but it also allows her to remain aware of her surroundings, which is a crucial safety feature for outdoor running. The sound quality is good, clear and crisp enough for music and podcasts during a workout. It's not going to blow audiophiles away with booming bass or intricate detail, but it's perfectly adequate for active use. The "Deep Bass" mentioned is there, but definitely more subtle than traditional in-ear headphones. They've also held up well to sweat, which is essential for workout headphones. Pros: * Secure Fit for Running: The open-ear, bone conduction design is incredibly stable and ideal for activities where traditional earbuds fall out. * Situational Awareness: Leaves ears open to hear ambient sounds like traffic, enhancing safety during outdoor activities. * Comfortable: Lightweight and don't put pressure on the ear canal, comfortable for long wear. * Sweat Resistant: Durable enough for intense workouts. * Good Call Quality: Microphones work well for calls, even outdoors. * Reflective Strip: Added safety feature for low-light conditions. Cons: * Sound Quality (Not Audiophile Grade): While good for workouts, the sound fidelity and bass response won't compare to high-end in-ear or over-ear headphones. * Sound Leakage: Due to the open design, there's some sound leakage at higher volumes, meaning people nearby might hear your audio. * Pricey: These are a premium product and come with a higher price tag. Overall, if you or someone you know struggles with earbuds falling out during exercise, or if situational awareness is a priority for outdoor activities, the SHOKZ New OpenRun Pro 2 are an excellent investment. They do exactly what they promise in terms of secure fit and safe listening, making them a fantastic choice for athletes, even if the sound quality won't completely astound you. ... show more

  • Simply Marvelous
Color: Black Size: Mini
Super happy with these. A bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it in the long run. I work 8 hour shifts often listening to music the whole time and on medium volume I can happily report the 14+hr battery to be accurate. Charges quick and pairs even quicker. Multi device pairing is a breeze too, only being made easier by the app where you can toggle on and off devices that the headphones will try to pair to. So, basically you can pair a bunch of devices and turn the ability to connect to them on and off. For me, I usually pair to my laptop and phone, but have my watch and streaming stick saved and toggled off so the headphones prioritize my phone and laptop so they don't fight for pairing power. I had the minus volume button deteriorate and come off rendering the rocker almost useless. I reached out to support and they sent me a new pair free of charge since it was still under warranty. Really nice and easy and now I have two pairs, just one I can't turn the volume down on nor rely on its water resistance. I'd consider myself an average sized dude 5'10" @160lbs and the "mini" size fits perfect and I barely know it's on me until I get a notification and hear it IN STEREO! Stereo audio is also a big plus for me and one of the main downsides to using just one in-ear earbud. Plus I get normal surround sound of the world around me in addition to stereo music. I think it's just one of the best daily-wear inventions yet. The Pro2 over the Pro1 any day! I'm serious about the extra sound drivers to pump that bass without skull rattling. It's a real comfort boost. You can change it to fully vibration mode in the app, but I've only done that on my Pro2 to show people how bad the Pro1 is lol. ... show more

  • I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THESE SOONER!!!
Just got these set up. I feel like an absolute idioto! Why have I been sleeping on ordering these for so long! So incredibly better than my other in ear headphones! The sound quality on both ends is superior! I washed dishes earlier and the person on the other end had no idea I even was! Mind blowing! I’ve wasted so much money buying multiple pairs of “fruit headphones” and “drum headphones” that I could have saved hundreds had I just ordered these sooner! The app is easy to navigate & is user friendly! Setup was a breeze! The mini’s fit my tiny head perfectly! The carrying case is so luxe! They charge fast & easily! Best value & money I’ve spent on headphones in over 10+ years! I can leave my phone on the other end of the house & go to grab my mail and take out the trash before they start to sound glitchy! I live on 1 acre and I couldn’t even walk to the other end of my house with my old headphones! They don’t distort any of my sound quality for a long distance!!!! BUY THESE!!!! I PROMISE YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!!! ... show more

  • An awesome pair of headphones for a pretty good price
Color: Black Size: Mini
These are a really good pair of earphones. They live up to the title of mini, as they are quite portable and not bulky at all. It's cordless, and the thing fits snugly on your head, so it's hassle free unless it gets tangled in your hair. It's pretty useful for exercise and everyday use, as you can hear the audio clearly, but also the rest of the world. It also has stereo, which is useful for enthusiasts. I haven't really pushed it to its limits, but they seem pretty durable and flexible. ... show more
