These lace grabbers are really great if you've got new shoes or boots and make sure your mid part of the shoe is tight against your foot. They're also really good at getting bad knots undone. Slip the hook into that pesky little loop that you can't get to with your fingers and it pops open knot easy

My biggest concern is th plastic heat formed handle is a little rough and the end of the round steel hook Is cut square, with no rounding of the edge. But this 4 pack is a lot more reasonable for the price and it gets the job done just as well.

I am SO glad I bought these shoe lace tighteners as they are wonderful and very easy to use. They are the perfect size for pretty much everything with laces. I use them on work boots and especially on platform stiletto's and they work great. They also help to pull up zippers that have slots in them on the shoes. I am very glad they give you two of them as you can do it quickly by alternating with each of your hands and it keeps the laces tight as you move up your shoe. I highly recommend especially at this price point.

…you can have the greatest hiking or sports shoes…but if you can’t tighten the shoelaces, any activity could cause ankle injuries…and the new heavy duty shoelaces are very difficult to tighten, especially hikers…so i got these manual metal shoelaces tighteners…and they work great and are easy to use…they are very heavy duty …and when athletic shoes now cost >$200, it’s insane not to pay a few dollars to be able to tighten the shoes..

I love that the handle fit well in my hand, but it's very sharp. When I was pulling laces, the tip poked through and ripped some of the lace. I will either have to grind the tip down, or exchange it. I want my son to be able to use this, but I am afraid that he may cut himself with it. I do LOVE that it's hooked not just an "L" shape, because the hook helps it from slipping off of the laces when I'm pulling them.
