I gave this product 4 stars because the tools themselves were great for the price and as a kit I think they did a good job at including a variety of essential tools. It’s the perfect kit for someone who just bought their first home or moved out of their parents’ house. With this tool kit, Ive so far managed to put together a couple DIY shelving units & a mini kitchenette, take some measurements for future projects I have in mind, hang up some wall art in my bedroom, and to replace 2 shower heads. Each tool I used got the job done with no unnecessary struggle required. My only issue with this product was the carrying case. When I first opened the box, most of the tools up top had come out of their placements and the were scattered everywhere on the bottom. As sellers, they need to remember that presentation is everything and you only get one shot at a good first impression. I, however, wasn’t very impressed upon opening my tool kit. I found it to be a inconvenience to have to try to figure out where the tools were supposed to go and then to snap them in place so I could take an inventory of what exactly the kit included. The case also felt a bit flimsy and one drop would easily cause it to break. I wouldn’t mind paying an extra $2-$3 for a more durable plastic & better reinforcements for the tool compartments to be implemented in their future productions. ... show more

    • Basic toolkit for basic needs
The tool kit is decent for basic needs around the house, it has the essential day to day tools. I only gave it 4 stars due to the quality of the tools and case. The case is handy to carry the tools, if they stay in their designated spots inside. As soon as you open it whatever is on the top portion mostly falls out onto the bottom. The tools them selves are cheaply made, but solid enough for light handywork around the home.I definitely wouldn't purchase this for a mechanic or anyone in construction, or carpentry, where tools are needed constantly throughout the day. They wouldn't hold up for long in my opinion. I did manage to break the adjustable wrench using it on a faucet. Personally if i where in the market for a toolkit, I'd scroll past this one and fork out a little more money on a better made set. ... show more

I bought this for my nephew's 6th birthday and he literally hasn't put his tools down in a week! The measuring tape is in mysterious increments (for sure not inches or mm... Very confusing) but he's just happy that he's "68 tall" so that's fine.

Great shipping and transaction. The case looks deceptively sturdy, but, is fairly flimsy, and the cover latch refuses to lock. The tools I’ve used so far (flathead, pliers, box cutter, and have worked well, although the cutter’s slider cap broke off this morning during basic use.
