  • Great tire for the money.
I just installed it. A few notes. If you put it on yourself put the red dot opposite the valve stem. I took off my old tore and there was about 3 Oz. If weights. I peeled those off and when balancing rhe new tire it took about the same. I turned the tire 180 deg. With the mark opposite the valve stem. Now it took 3/4 of 1 Oz. Yes 3 1/4oz weights that's it. Put about 100 miles on yesterday and yhe bike handles great. No issues with the tire at all. This is preliminary as I only put a hand full of miles on it. Also the tires markings showed it to be made about 10 months ago. To me I could care less. The tire I took off was a Shinko. And not a touring tire. It was marked 2021. Other than flat topped from where the tire was still in very good condition. No cracking or blemishes I could find. An update after 600 miles. I know it's not alot of miles but for those hesitating on these tires. Don't. At 600 plus miles I'm very impressed with this Shinko tire. If you did not know and rode the bike you would think it's a tire at 3 times the cost. Around town or at 80mph+ it rides and handles as well as any bias tire I have used in the past. ... show more

  • Solid tire for the price
My last tire had the sidewall slashed which was unfortunate. However I liked these tires enough to buy the replacement. I ride mainly mountain roads with some freeway sprinkled in. These tires handle well. I'm sure some would argue they aren't "sticky" enough, but I haven't run into this issue. They last a while. The last set I had lasted 2 years. The only thing I can't comment on is how they are for 2-up riding. I ride solo but I do add my bags and gear on the sissy bar and traction has not been a problem. ... show more

  • Great tire
Great shipping time and a good quality tire!

  • Excellent value and traction
This is wearing just fine. I have about 2,000 miles on it, and it is showing some signs of wear, but I have a very torquey, high compression bike, that is so strong on engine braking, that I rarely need brakes until about the last 15 mph. This is hard on a tire, or I'm sure that this tire would be wearing even better were it not for my engine characteristics. I've had more expensive Michelins, Dunlops, etc. on this bike, and they were in worse shape after the same amount of mileage...in fact, one of them worn out after 2,000 miles on the tread. So, all in all, this compound is wearing well and grips fairly well, too, even in the rain. I'm very satisfied, and plan to buy the exact same tire after this one wears out. Don't be afraid of the unknown name brand. They do a great job. ... show more

  • Great tire so far
I had a Dunlop 402 HD tire on the rear wheel of my Harley FLHTC. It was 4.5 years old, badly cupped, starting to dry rot, and riding poorly. The dealer said a new Dunlop was going to cost me $330.00 mounted and balanced. I had mounted tires before but, didn't really want to dao that again. But, the bearings need to be repacked on the wheels and I didn't trust just anyone to do that. So, I pulled the wheel, serviced the bearings and mounted this tire. I used balance beads rather than the traditional balance method. Once I got it all back together I took a ride. Keeping in mind that my old Dunlop was in bad shape I will say that this tire rides very nice. It's quiet and smooth. Only time will tell how it does but, in the short run I am very happy and I came in well under a hundred bucks for the entire job. Given the fact the less than five year old Dunlop was dry rotting and cupping really bad I would say that this Korean made tire will give at least as good service as I got from the previous tire. ... show more

  • Seems fine
Came in good time. A pain to get beaded with a tube inside.

  • Edit:Update-Not as good as I originally thought.
Edit: OK,I have had a chance to honestly review the tire/s performance and longevity. Good value for the money. The tires are fairly soft and grab well on the road @ lower speeds,so so on wet roads. On to the bad: Tread depth is really shallow. It does not grip very well on hard curves @ anything over 75MPH. Already needing to replace @ 7000 miles. I will be buying another, better brand but in a pinch and short for cash I guess it was just,"OK". 95 FXST Custom H-D ... show more
