This bidet is pretty nice. It is well made and sturdy, and has a metal connection for water. It includes everything you need to install and washing. It is very slim which is nice, and does not take allot of room if your toilet is in a tight space. The connection kit is complete and has good quality hose and fitting. Some people hate the Grey Plastic Connection on toilets; I have difficulties with the metal connections. I have installed 5 of these now, and what makes it easy or hard are the connections the kit comes with. So save yourself some headaches, and instead of splitting the water at the bottom of the tank, split it at the end of the water shut-off valve. get a 3/8" splitter from your home improvement store and connect the hoses that way. one from the valve to the tank and the other from the valve to the bidet. Get a different size hose if you need to as well. Slim design and fits well under the seat. While you are getting cold water up your butt, keep in mind that this helps to reduce the number of wet wipes you need and also helps to keep the toilet bowl cleaner for longer. ... show more

I am flat sold on a bidet, even with the slightly cool water I get in the winter. I have used one for some time and after the old one started causing me problems I picked up this one. The installation was fast and easy, everything is included and the instructions are clear. As opposed to the old one the cleaner stream is strong and focused while the "lady's" setting is more soft and gentle, a nice addition. I love the fact that in the absence of a toilet paper, you can just use this bidet to clean after yourself.     • It works; some caveats

The first thing to mention about this is that the instructions are TERRIBLE. A couple pointers: 1) To install the unit on the toilet unbolt the seat from the bottom, the bolts then go through the mounting brackets (for stability) and then attach to the seat. Simple, but not at all clear from instructions. 2) The adapter it comes with attaches to the toilet tank ONLY, and is the wrong size to attach to the shutoff valve as stated in the instructions, so don't even bother. 3) Once attached DON'T stand in front of the toilet to see how it works. Your likely to get drenched. How's it work? I've noticed that there are $2000 toilets out there to pamper your tushy. I personally can't make comparisons since I only have simple old fashioned toilets. This unit has no warm water, no heated seat, no air drying, no fancy perfumes, or whatever else those toilets have. However, it does do its primary job which is to give your rear end a quick wash after you poop. Do be aware that water comes out in a thin, fairly high pressure stream, so it can be a bit uncomfortable if it hits your bung hole directly. Once you get used to it, however, you learn to shift around on the seat and use the controls for a good cleaning. You will still need some toilet paper to dry yourself. As far as the controls go, there is a posterior side and a feminine side, with water coming out at slightly different angles. I recommend experimenting a bit with the controls and shifting your position on the seat to see what works for you. It would be nice if the control arm had a dead point between the sides, but it's not that hard to find. For a very user friendly price compared to some of the alternatives out there this thing does do its job. Let's just call it a really good starter bidet and leave it at that. ... show more
