  • Light and comfortable
Color: Natural Style: Traditional
This chair is good quality for the cost. It is also light enough to move easily. I would buy them again.

  • It's kitty cat approved!
Color: Burnt Brown Style: Classic
Chair came in a partially assembled state making it pretty easy to finish, even if you're a dude who refuses to use instructions. Seems pretty sturdy once assembled even though it is a relatively soft cedar. Back has a nice curve as well as the seat. Plenty of room for wide hips in the seat, as well as large flat arms for drinks and cups, or the occasional kitty butt. It's far from the best Adirondack chair on the market, but its the best <100$ Adirondack chair on the market! ... show more

  • One arrived damaged.
Color: Natural Style: Traditional
One of the 2 I ordered arrived with one of the pieces of lumber split from one of the screws installed at the factory. I attempted to return it but the park was was a hassle and I ended up just fixing it myself with some wood glue.

  • Low grade asian cedar
Color: Natural Style: Classic
I bought 2. Both have significantly more knots than what their pictures show. 1 chair had so many issuers, fine cracks/ missing knots, that i sent it back for replacement since the company did not respond to support request. I assembled the 2nd chair and it was straightforward but you need to leave all bolts loose until you get everything aligned then tighten all bolts. The replacement chair arrived and also had a lot of knots but no splits. This chair had significant alignment issues with both front legs. I have the chair put together but i either have to accept that the arm support will never sit square or i have to redrill the leg bolt holes on both sides. Very poor qc issues on top of low quality wood and zero response from the company. Other than that it's a cheap alternative to quality made adirondack chairs made by US craftsmen. ... show more

  • OK - you get what you pay for
Color: Natural Style: Classic
If you think you found a great deal and these are as good as the $200-300 Adirondack chairs, think again. They are OK for the price I paid ($85 each, unstained). Quality is OK for the price, but I knocked it down to 3 stars for a few reasons: - in the US, when you think of cedar, you think of western red cedar. I have used it a lot - for a deck I built, reconstructed porch, etc. This does not seem to be cedar - very lightweight, softer than “normal” cedar, very light color. They are made in China, so maybe this is some sort of Asian cedar, but it’s not the cedar I think of and durability is suspect. - hardware claims to be weather resistant. To mean that means stainless or hot-dipped galvanized. The hardware is neither - but shiny yellow-colored, likely electogalvanized. Electrogalvanized is not rated for outdoor use. You may be OK if sheltered under a porch or you live in the arid southwest, but it definitely won’t hold up in coastal environments and I don’t think it’ll survive more than 2-3 years outdoors in Ohio. - exposed hardware. For the price, I’m OK with that, but the bolts were way too long and made the chairs look extra cheap (see pics). I cut off the excess with an angle grinder, so it looks better. But I shouldn’t have to do that… Pros: if you like a natural finish and you want to stain yourself, they do look good. Comfortable as well. To summarize, durability is questionable unless you plan to use them in a sheltered location or have an appropriate climate. ... show more

  • I DON’T WANT TO GET UP.
Color: Lime Green Style: Classic
Oh. Wow. Oh. Wow. I LOVE everything about this chair. I crave, crave, crave comfort—especially when lounging with Husband in our backyard oasis, sipping margaritas, and watching dogs romping wildly through the grass. One of the things that sold me in the first place is that we are kind of lazy when it comes to maintaining outdoor furniture, so the idea of having a gorgeous, vibrant green, comfortable lounge chair that won’t readily fade or fall apart was super enticing. These chairs do not disappoint, and are just as described. I’ve had Adirondack chairs before. Some were okay but not as nicely shaped, some were difficult to get out of. (We are not spring chickens). None have compared to these when it comes to fit, comfort, stability and styling. I am 5’4” and the husband is 6’ tall, yet we agree that these chairs fit each of us like a glove. Bonus: They are sturdy and compact, not at all bulky. Fun fact: i spilled a drink on the arm this morning; the liquid beaded and was super easy to wipe off in a flash. I.e. no absorption, no staining. Yay. I’m actually writing this review from my chair right now. I don’t want to get up. Husband, please bring me a margarita! It’s 5:00 somewhere. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble, comfortable, should last through a few winters if left out of doors
Color: Natural Style: Classic
Easy to assemble and the price was right! I was not planning to assemble the two I purchased as its still winter in Minnesota and I can't put them outside. Unfortunately one of the two came in a mangled box. Happily nothing was missing or damaged. And it smelled like cedar, so I was pleased. All wooden parts were sanded smooth. Assembled in 25 minutes as advertised, though the instructions were not entirely clear as to which screws went where, the next one will take 15 minutes now that I have the knack. (An electric screw driver would be a handy item.) The chair is comfortable, easy to move around as it's only about 20 pounds, attractive and symmetrical sitting evenly on my kitchen floor where I put it together. I would love not to stain or lacquer it, but cedar will turn an ugly gray sooner or later when left out through the winter. And its real wood, not factory made wood or plastic. I hope it was from a sustainable forest source, but owing to its country of production, who knows? ... show more

  • A great pair of chairs!
Color: Natural Style: Classic
I bought two of these. I am so tired of plastic or resin chairs that look like plastic. These are real wood, pine, and ready to paint whatever color my little heart desires. Okay, red and a blue one. The first i painted after assembly. The second chair i painted the pieces before assembly. Second is going much better; less drips and dribbles. Assembly was relatively easy, but seemed like the little tags just messed with my dyslexic mind. I worked on it with the pictures and did okay. Got things tight and really seems like a well build piece of furniture. All screws, no nails or staples! All one by lumber, nicely sanded and ready for finishing. Just waiting for all the paint to dry. Summer is gonna be nice! ... show more
