Description

A true glutton for punishment, the legacy of the versatile Saragosa SW starts a new chapter in 2020 with enhanced capabilities and features to dominate the saltwater realm. The Saragosa SW now features Infinity Drive Technology and increases the reel’s winding torque under load by up to 30% compared to its predecessor to give anglers a distinct advantage over hard fighting game fish. Combined with a battle-tested rigid HAGANE Body that won’t flex under immense loads and the HAGANE Gear to create eternally smooth reeling, the capabilities of the Saragosa SW make it a thoroughbred workhorse among saltwater spinning reels. The Saragosa SW also features an IPX8-rated waterproof Cross Carbon drag and X-Protect for high-level water resistance to create long-lasting durability without sacrificing performance. No matter whether anglers are fishing inshore or offshore, jigging for bottom fish or casting baits at tailing fish, they can count on — just like they always have — the Saragosa SW to stay smooth no matter the conditions and perform when needed most. The bar is raised for saltwater spinning reels.

  • Very smooth and high quality

Great drag system! It handled large fish with ease, great casting distance, smooth even retrieval and built like a tank. Couldn’t ask for a better reel in my opinion!

  • Reel like butter!
Style: Gear Ratio: 6.2:1 | Size: 14000
Well, I received both the Shimano Saragosa SW14000 reel and the Shimano Trevala 2pc 6’6 medium heavy rod today. Took it out for a spin. Tried it out casting from the beach. This reel feels like butter! Solid and the drag is awesome catching this 33” Black Drum did not put any stress on the pole nor my 15lb line. Worth the money! I will leave a separate review for the Trevala Rod but as you can see I landed that monster!😂 ... show more

Happy to have this reel, feel solid and smooth, be in mind, this reel is ont automatic close the bail, and this reel came with scratch on it,but I am sure this is new, is will not make the reel not functioning, but this make me disappointed.

  • Refund or return with proper working reel
Style: Gear Ratio: 5.6:1 | Size: 8000
The reel came broken without a washer on the actual handle going in the reel. I’ve used it once and it was so hard to reel, I had nothing on the line and it felt like a 200 LB shark was on. I don’t think they are going to refund me or send me a new reel.
