This is not my first shelter logic shed. In the photo, you can see the 6 x 6 that we built last year. That one went together like a dream. We put these on a paver foundation with 4 x 4 posts to anchor them down. This year we needed an 8 x 10 in addition to the 6 x 6. This was so much harder. Each pipe is painted with a rust resistant paint, but because of that thick coating of paint the pipes do not want to go together. I had to pound them in to place before. I realized that I needed to get my Dremel and Dremel off the paint so that I could get the pipes to fit. This was a ridiculously complex build. I also found that one of the ratchet strap mechanisms was faulty. It didn’t want to ratchet very well and the other seven were fine, but this one was clearly not great. We also struggled with getting the bolt through the middle rib at the top and through the adjoining roof support. We ended up having to do a workaround using a U-bolt to get it to finally mate. I liked the 6 x 6 shelter logic because in a windstorm my Rubbermaid 7 x 7 shed blew away but the shelter logic stayed. Ask me now if I would ever put one of these things together? Absolutely not. Absolutely not. Also, the zipper is sluggish. I had to mess with the tensioning of the ratchet straps quite a bit to get the zippers to even close and then still the zippers are sluggish. Will be googling to find out if there is a workaround for this for others. If the zipper goes, the whole thing is a waste of money. ... show more
