It LIFTS the booty up and holds her in place! There is no tummy hold but I am learning to love my little pooch, but for those who do want tummy support this might be important. This skirt is very stylish and is a great length. The only problem is if it is stretched or in sunlight it becomes veryyyy see through. Would I say it’s worth $30 because of that? No, maybe $15. This skirt is really cute, but it does really hug the curves! Some other reviewers said the material was too sheer, I did not find this to be true with the black ribbed option. The material is quit substantial in fact. I ordered a size M, but since it it quite form fitting, I am returning it for a size L. For reference, I am 5'5", about 144 pounds and typically wear a size 6 in most clothes. I do not have the larger size yet, but I am hoping it will be less tight thru the hips, and fit a bit looser towards the bottom. It should be great for traveling as it came out of the package free of wrinkles, which is exactly what I am looking for an upcoming trip to Europe. ... show more

I washed and dried and it did not shrink. I wish I would’ve gotten a small, but I can deal with it. I have it pulled up past my belly button to make it the length I preferred. Might go get it altered! Material is nice and soft and it’s not see through at all! I’m 5’7 & 140lbs
