I kind of expected this skin tint foundation to have more coverage, but it is very light. What it lacks in coverage it makes up for in moisture. I find this foundation to be more like a base layer of SPF moisturizer for a no makeup day by the pool or underneath a full makeup routine as added hydration. I wouldn't replace any part of my routine with this, but rather have it as an additional layer to incorporate the SPF coverage. This is light enough for non foundation wearers who just want a little skin protection, hydration and maybe an ever so slight evening of skin color. I selected the Shell color hoping it would be on the darker side of pale, but it was still rather pale. Even tough the tint did get a little darker after settling, it wasn't enough, so I'd recommend going an extra step or 2 darker than you think you'd like. The photo I shared has the tint applied to the right side of my face only before other makeup. I like how my skin felt after application. It was smooth and soft and gently hydrated. The blendability was a little odd, it was irregular at the start, then became slightly patchy, then suddenly it became smooth. Keep working with it and you'll find the right blend.

I’ve always had a hard time finding a foundation that matches my very pale skin, but the SHEGLAM Dew & Done Skin Tint with SPF 20 in Linen is just about perfect! It might even be a teeny bit lighter than my natural skin tone so I'm thinking of blending it with Buttercream in the future to create my own custom shade. The foundation comes in a wide range of shades (when they’re available), and the formula is easy to apply. The tube allows for maximum control of the product as it comes out and is one of my favorite things about this foundation. No makeup squirting out everywhere! The cream comes out of the tube a little thick, but blends easily into my skin using just my fingertips, which is my preferred method of application. I usually skip powder to let my natural skin show through, and I had no trouble layering a cream blush over it. My skin is generally sensitive and normal, with some oiliness in the T-zone and dryness on my cheeks. This foundation works well on all areas of my face and wears nicely for about five to six hours. It does settle slightly into the pores on my chin, but it's not very noticeable. I had no problem washing it off with warm water and a makeup eraser. Even though it’s described as dewy, it finishes a bit more matte on me than I expected, but I still really like the effect. As someone with super fair skin, I'm glad for the 20 spf sunscreen and I like that it's titanium dioxide, a physical (rather than a chemical) sunblock. I haven’t had any skin reactions, and the price is good compared to other foundations I use regularly. I like this one enough that it will likely become my everyday foundation.

This skin tint in Buttercream matched my light/neutral skin tone pretty well. At first it did look slightly too light going on, but it became more sheer as I blended it out and became more of a match. It is thicker when you first squeeze some out, and I quickly realized that a little goes a long way with this product. It does feel light on the skin, and breathable. I would advise to moisturize and maybe even prime skin before application, as this product did settle into my pores and made them appear more visible. Therefore it wasn't completely smooth when I first tried it. It does wear well otherwise. I find that it's more matte than dewy, but not completely flat matte. Just moreso than dewy, which is fine with me because dewy turns into shiny on my face. I do wish the SPF was a bit stronger - 30 or even 40 SPF would have made this product better. Also, there was no quality seal over the tip of the bottle I did drop a star because of the lower SPF and the pore settling, but overall it's a pretty good value for the money.

This tinted SPF20 foundation is labeled as having light-medium coverage, however I would classify it as sheer. There is color to the foundation when you squeeze it out of the tube, and the color matching looked promising, but after applying it to my face it has no noticeable coverage. I was looking for a lightweight tinted SPF moisturizer for the summer. While this does have SPF (it has the telltale 'sunscreen' smell when you are applying it) this foundation has minimal to no coverage. It does go on smoothly, but feels slightly tacky/sticky for a while. I applied my regular face powder over this foundation, and it did help the powder set and stay in place, even through a hot, muggy, July day. Overall, I was less than impressed with this product. However, I probably will continue to use this foundation with my face powder for the rest of the summer as it is much lighter weight than my regular liquid foundation. I'm disappointed I have to use my face powder with this foundation to achieve coverage, as I was looking for a single product for these hot days. If you are looking for a one and done tinted SPF moisturizer with medium coverage, this probably isn't it.
