PROVEN EFFECTIVE In reducing certain viruses including MS2 (Viral Stimulant) In reducing certain bacteria including E-Coli, Staphylococcus, epidermidis, and Serratia marcescens. In reducing in certain common molds and fungus, including Penicilillum and Aspergillus Niger; and most odors that conventional filters don’t reach. NATURALLY ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY FOR TRULY CLEAN AIR. Sharp’s exclusive patented Plasma cluster ion technology eliminates microscopic pollutants that traditional filters cannot trap-even those trapped in fabric, carpeting, and drapery! -by replicating nature’s own cleaning process of producing positive and negative ions from water vapor in the air. It is an ideal solution for allergy sufferers, asthmatics, pet owners, and smokers, and best used in a bedroom, living room, study, or exercise room. TRIPLE FILTRATION SYSTEM: washable pre-filter traps dust and other large airborne particles that passes through the filters. Activated carbon deodorizing filter removes odors that passes through the filters. TRUE HEPA filters effectively remove 99. 97% of particles from the air that passes through the filter from 0. 3 microns and larger. SMART SENSOR: in Auto Operation, fan speed is automatically controlled depending on amount of impurities in the air. The sensors detect impurities for efficient air purification. Each dust and odor indicator shows the quality of impurity to purity of air. LOWER OPERATING COST: long life TRUE HEPA filters typically require changing only every 2 to 5 years, so operating costs are low. (Actual filter life will differ depending on the environment). OTHER KEY FEATURES: Quick clean mode: releases high density plasma cluster ions; Switch the control light from bight to dim or off; and set the fan to low speed, at the quiet 26db for sound sleep. The KC850U features Max, Med, and Low fan speeds, plus Pollen, Quick Clean, and Auto Mode. In Auto Mode, the sensors will monitor your air quality and adjust the fan speeds automatically. The KC850U includes a humidifier that may make your home more comfortable. The Library Quiet® Low setting is perfect for the bedroom.
