I usually struggle putting kites together but this one was surprisingly simple. The rods slide right into place without you having to force them. It packs down nice and small in the included storage bag, but when you lay it out it is actually massive. The bright colors and shark shape stand out a lot more than a standard triangle kite. Getting it into the air was really straightforward. You do not need perfect weather or expert skills to get this thing off the ground. The long tail really helps keep it steady in the air so it does not just spin out of control and nose dive immediately. We had a couple of rough crash landings in the grass while figuring out the wind direction, but the nylon material held up perfectly without any rips. The plastic handle and string are fairly basic, but they work fine for a casual afternoon at the park. Pros: - Super easy to put together in a few minutes - Thick nylon material survives hard drops - Huge wingspan makes it fun to watch - Stays stable even in lighter winds Cons: - The included handle is a bit small if you want to fly it for hours ... show more

This shark kite is adorable and so much fun to use. The shark shape makes it stand out right away, and once it’s in the air it looks even better. We got several compliments on it because it looks so fun and unique flying in the sky. It’s one of those products that is both functional and entertaining, which makes it even better. I was honestly surprised by how easy it was to get flying. Sometimes kites can be frustrating to launch, but this one went up much easier than I expected. I don’t know if it’s because of the shape or the design, but it flew really well and stayed up nicely once it caught the wind. That made the whole experience way more enjoyable because we got to have fun with it instead of struggling to get it airborne. Another thing I liked was that it came with a cute little carrying case, which makes it convenient to take to the park or beach and easy to store afterward. It was also easier to repack than I expected, which is a huge plus because folding things back into their original bag is often the hardest part. Overall, this is a really fun kite that looks great in the sky, flies well, and is easy to use. It’s cute, practical, and brought a lot of fun to the day.
