I recently purchased the Shark HP232 Clean Sense Air Purifier MAX, and so far, it has been a great addition to my home. The purifier has proven to be effective in detecting and reducing allergens and odors. For example, it immediately kicks into high gear when there's smoke from cooking or when I open the door to my brother's room after it has been closed all day. It's clear that this purifier is actively working to improve the air quality by picking up allergens, and the added air freshener feature is a nice touch that makes my living room smell fresher. Setting up the Shark HP232 was a breeze. The process was incredibly straightforward, taking me no more than five minutes to complete. The manual provided was easy to read and follow, making the entire setup process seamless. One minor issue I've noticed is the noise level when the air quality drops below 70%. It sounds similar to a standard box fan—not overly loud, but noticeable enough. Given that this is part and parcel of maintaining air quality, it’s a small trade-off for the benefits it provides. My apartment is relatively small, so the air purifier might be overkill for my space, but it effectively covers the entire home. I was surprised by the size of the unit—it was much bigger than I anticipated. I didn’t pay close attention to the dimensions and had to find a new spot for it, but it ultimately worked out well. The size does not detract from its functionality, as it seems to be doing an excellent job. I purchased this air purifier because I care for my older brother, who has asthma, and we have a short-haired dog whose dander I suspected was exacerbating his condition. While it's still early to tell if it has made a significant impact on his asthma, I've noticed a decrease in dust accumulation. Our weekly cleaner has also remarked on the reduction of dust, which is a positive sign. Overall, the Shark HP232 Clean Sense Air Purifier MAX has been a worthwhile investment for maintaining better air quality in my home. It effectively reduces allergens and odors, making it an excellent choice for anyone with similar needs.

I bought several cheaper air purifiers before buying this one and ended up feeling like they weren’t working. This one works great! Definitely worth it. Lightweight and easy to move room to room and it’s quiet. Highly recommend.

We have a basement that we turned into a bedroom and we have some air quality concerns because of the furnace, pellet stove and what not. This made me feel way more safe and seeing it working brings me comfort. It does a really good job. Loved it so much that I bought one for our main floor too.

I was pleased to find that the sound level was very low. I was afraid it would be just another noisy fan. It's so quiet that I don't hear it unless I'm fairly close. Or if the air is bad, then you hear it kick into a higher speed. The air quality readout is handy and interesting to watch. I moved it around to different rooms to see how the compared. When cooking or if light a candle, you can see the numbers indicate the air quality taking a hit and the unit starts working harder. Verdict: Very pleased so far after a couple of weeks.

Expensive in comparison to others on the market. It does seem to work well in terms of keeping the air clean. I do like the digital display that shows the air quality. The odor cartridge that came with it noticeably had a nice scent for maybe a week. I have only kept it on low because I don't like my air to be super fragranced. It ran out pretty quickly and I'm not sure it even makes sense. They only provide 1 cartridge. I'm sure there's a way to buy more but like why do I want to do that? This was an expensive purchase and I think everyone needs air purifiers in their home because our air quality is SO important. Overall I would recommend, I just wish the manufacturer would make the scent cartridge more useful. It does seem to clean the air very well. I bought these for the bedrooms in a split level house, and the larger one for the main area. The air is noticeably more clean.

I purchased this as air filter with light white noise (fan) for in my 2 year old son's room. He's about to start school and I know there will be lots of germs flying around. I love the look overall, see photos for reference size comparison to other room objects. It's not very heavy, fits nicely on top of the shelves, and has a modern look. I have the bigger shark air purifier in my master bedroom and love it so this seemed like the natural progression for the toddlers room. I turn it on during naps and night time and it puts off just the right amount of white noise I wanted on level 3 of 4 modes. It is very impressively quiet on the low 2 modes. I love the feature that I can turn off all the lights on it so it's not distracting at night when on. I decided to remove the air freshness addition on the top as I found it made a very strong fragrance smell, but that would work well in other rooms not dedicated to a little one. I love this and highly recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. The Shark Air purifier has been on my list for quite some time and it does not disappoint! It has a simple interface, fool proof set-up, and works extremely well. We have a large downstairs area and a 80lb shepherd who sheds a lot, and this purifier has decreased my sneezing by a ton! 10/10 recommend.
