As with last tidings backpack i bought, this smaller sling bag is top quality. It has allowed me to consolidate my tablet, phone, battery pack and other odd and sundry stuff i carry around nowdays. I can slide a packet of 8 1/2 x 11 papers in it as well as a couple bluethooth devices such as ear buds. I had found my self daily carrying awkward handfulls if stuff from car to house or car to dr appointments or car to client offices, etc.. this has been functionally, a great upgrade in a esthetically pleasing format. The quality is such that i thing it will give me many years of service, hopefully decades. Leather is of a quality i used to expect as a matter of course 40 years ago but never see today. It is thick and stiff due to it's thickness yet still supple to touch. The thickness allows it to hold it's own shape. Between the heavy leather and padding incorporated in construction it should give tablets and other contents exceptional protection. Just be aware it has some weight to it. Fully loaded as i described it has a bit of heft. Its not a thin whispy bit of nylon that is practically not there. Im coming to truely expect great things in tidings products. ... show more

I've had since 2021, it's been my go to regular bag. Its fits my iPad perfectly! I was recently in a motorcycle accident, flew over a car and landed on my back. Bag between me and road! The bag hardly has any marks, my iPad was perfectly fine! This is an alarmingly tough bag!!

I wanted to give 4.5 stars, instead of 4, but could not figure out how. This bag is well designed, includes plenty of storage packets and spaces, yet feels small enough to wear all day. I particularly like the additional zipped packet on the lower back side of the bag. Good for hiding money, passports etc…the zippers and stitching look like they will last a looooong time. The leather is thick and looks, feels and smells good (yes, that last one matters too). It does hold a 13 inch iPad in the ‘iPad’ pocket in the main storage compartment, but NOT if the iPad is in a case like the apple Magic Keyboard cover/case. But, it fits just fine in the main storage area, so that’s totally fine. With all that raving about this bag, why did I not give this bag a full 5 stars? Because of what I consider a small, and easily remediate-able design flow. I can’t understand why the front zipped pocket came with single sided vs double sided zipper. Why does it matter? Because if you wear the bag across your left shoulder (as I do, and prefer) then opening/closing the front zipper is difficult (have to reach under the bag, when you pull it in front of you) and, if you have lose items in that pocket, they are at risk of falling out because opening that pocket that way is bottom up, rather than top down. Adding a double sided zipper would solve this issue. And, it would allow top to bottom opening of the front pocket no matter what shoulder you wear that bag on. And yes, another clever bit about this back is that you can actually hook the strap to either the left or right side of the bag, making it wearable on either the right or left shoulder. Lucky are those who will wear this bag on their right shoulder. They will have the front pocket zipper positioned just right. Message to the manufacturer, let me know if you decide to upgrade the front zipper on this bag, and I’ll buy another one. ... show more

I received the bag promptly (thank you) and really like the bag. Its size, cross-body style and leather-quality is just what I wanted. There are couple of imperfections in stitching that I noticed (see the photos) and I hope these don't come apart after initial usage and/or travels - I will keep an eye and provide subsequent update in a few months. ... show more
