This was just one of those products that you see and instantly know you have to have. No idea what following this little shark hoodie belongs with, and that's okay with me. We live along the water in Florida, and it's a total conversation starter for sure. The material isn't super heavy, but it is SO soft. The "teeth" along the hood are soft as well, and they get looks, trust me. (I am "older" and I just laugh when people steal looks) The hoodie is really well-made - great stitching, great hem. It's a nice hoodie to grab in the morning when we walk the dogs. Washed on cold and low heat before wearing, and it came out of the dryer looking just fine. No shrinkage. I ordered a large to have it oversized, and I'm glad I did. I am not a big person at all, at 5'4" and 140#, but I think a medium would have been uncomfortable for me to wear since I prefer oversized, loose clothing. There is a shark necklace that comes with it. Since I am a school teacher, I'll use it as a classroom treasure box token. This swetshirt is a WIN!!

I’m a scuba diver who likes to photograph sharks, and this sweatshirt is perfect for a chilly day out on a boat. I’m 5’5” tall with a 40” chest 33” waist, and 42” hips, and size XL is just about perfect for how I like to wear sweatshirts, just baggy and long enough to cover my hands and bum. The fabric medium weight, smooth on the outside and slightly fuzzy warm inside. The hood is smooth on both sides, thankfully for my hair, and the teeth just unfinished fleece. I put knots on the tie ends to keep it from fraying. I would have preferred not having the screen print on the chest but it’s well done and looks okay. Very nice especially for the low price, and the bonus necklace was a cute surprise!

This hoodie is significantly different than what is represented in the ad. The ad shows a hoodie with double-layer pointed shark teeth around the hood and a round drawstring with aglets. I received a lame-looking not-a-shark with *very* rounded single-layer raw-edged teeth and a super-cheap yellowed-looking drawstring with no aglets. The fiber content in the ad is claimed as 90-10 cotton-poly; the shirt I received claims to be 100% cotton but absolutely does not feel like it. It feels very slick and plasticky like 100% polyester. The shoulder and sleeve length measurements are 1"-1.5" shorter than claimed though the other measurements are accurate. The care tag says "professional dry clean". What? For a sweatshirt? I cannot recommend this as it's nothing like a shark and is not what is advertised.

I got this fun shark hoodie for my niece who loves all things shark! She is an avid swimmer and the mascot of her team is even a shark. I got one that is several sizes larger than she needs because she loves baggy clothes and so she can grow into it. Right not it will fit me and is even large on me so I would say it runs large. The sweatshirt is well made but I do wish the teeth were made of a slightly more durable fabric. The hoodie is nicely lined. It also comes with a cute shark necklace that I know she will love. A nice hoodie for the price.

I ordered this for a couple of reasons. One, it's cotton. Two, the price was great for a hooded sweatshirt. The XL is sized boys 18-20. (Not to say this is just for boys. Just a reference for buyers.) The blue sweatshirt fabric is thick. The black circle eyes are stitched on. The shark is screen printed. The hood is lined. The white "teeth" are a single layer fabric, fuzzy on one side. The drawstring is cream color. I machine washed inside-out and air/line dried. It washed up nicely. The necklace is stainless and it's a cartoon shark, so for me, it was kind of hard to make out that it was a shark. It's teeth were the giveaway. Looks like a mini bottle opener. It's shape has not sharp points.

Not soft. The material is horrendous, very rough - it's a cheap looser weave knit material. Photos are not of the actual product. The teeth are not sewn or pointy as shown. Now, the reason I am giving it 3 stars instead of 1... The inside isn't awful. It's somewhat soft. And I like the attention to detail with the inside of the hood being in pink. I also think it's a great value and it also includes the necklace as an added bonus. And, my teen still loves this hoodie. My daughter is a ladies medium and the xl fits her nicely (a bit baggy which is ideal for a hoodie). I would not recommend this item as a gift and I would not purchase again because I have standards, but it isn't a complete failure.
