I use this every morning after letting my skincare soak in. I use the heat first, it helps the products soak in and makes the skin glow. I follow that with cold, using it as I would a gua sha tool. I received this item yesterday, and I’m a little disappointed. The item has for the most part worked as expected, but the cold mode does not get very cold. I feel like it being call the Depuffi, the depuffing mode should work the best. If you’ve ever used an ice roller, your ice roller will be significantly colder than this. Also when you are using the cold mode, the fan blows out hot air and everything except the metal gets hot. I’m assuming that’s to cool down the device or maybe the battery overheats, but it’s annoying when you want to be cooling your face and the fan is blowing hot air at you. The heat mode works really well though and gets very hot. One thing I do like though, is how convenient it is. I didn’t find myself using my ice roller that much because I would forget to put it back in the freezer. This will also be a lot more convenient for travel. I used it as soon as I woke up this morning and it helped me wake up. So overall I’m not mad about this purchase, I just wish the cooling side got a lot cooler. I would not purchase this for full price though, I got it for $150. It would almost just be more worth it to buy multiple ice rollers. ... show more

I’ve tried a few tools similar to this one, and I have to say, this is the Cadillac version. The different temperature settings really set it apart. I love being able to switch between hot and cold, with multiple levels to choose from depending on what you need. It also switches between temperatures surprisingly quickly. The curved design is another feature I really like because it follows the contours of your face and neck and stays in contact with your skin as you use it. The gua sha-inspired shape makes it easy to work around the natural curves of your face without having to awkwardly angle or maneuver a flat tool. I didn’t even look at the instructions before I started using it right out of the box, which says a lot about how intuitive it is. It also comes with a really nice carrying case, making it convenient for travel. Is it expensive? Yes. But it’s a Shark product, and the quality and design definitely feel like you’re getting what you pay for. ... show more
