This beast amazes me, and I use the term 'beast' in an affectionate way. I've had smaller, punier air purifiers in the past, but this one blows them away. I am more and more impressed with Shark products the more I get them. It's quiet, detects changes in the air quality (if you're cooking, for example), and it shows you an air quality score. For the cost these were not worth it at all. These are refurbished. The first one I bought read every room at 100% air quality with no allergens. No one’s air quality is 100%. After a day of it not running because it thought it didn’t need to, I requested a replacement. Returned that one via UPS. Next one came and worked great…for 1 day. Then it started doing the same thing as the first one. So I contacted Amazon again. This time I wasn’t offered a replacement, just a refund to my original payment method. And here I sit over 2 weeks later with the shipment saying it’s delayed being returned, no updates, and nothing refunded to me. I’ve contacted amazon several times and they say the refund has been issued but I have not received anything. To say it’s frustrating is an understatement. Do you have someone who Vapes in your house? This works sooooo good with that. I have this on auto and it works harder when my bf is near it vaping. Also helps with pet hair and dirt in the air. It feels so much cleaner. I could tell when I forgot to plug it back in. Seeing all the smoke from the vape in the air. I will never not have a air purifier again lol plus this is easy to clean! My 2nd shark air purifier arrived today and i immediately opened it and plugged it in I then noticed there is a black out mark on the back where the serial number is.
