The compression is very nice but not uncomfortable. I am 5'2 roughly 230 lbs I ordered an XXL and it does the job well on my stomach area but the clasp area for the crotch is a little loose. I wish I could give 10 stars!!! I just had my baby a week ago and I am loving this shapewear. So comfortable, you can wear it all day, every day. I am 5'1 and my weight is 142, I purchased a Medium size and it fits like a glove. This might sound kind of gross but going to the restroom to change my pad is so easy, since you can detach the bottom part and don't need to undress yourself every time you have to go. I'm 5'8 tall Thick 195 pound and all my fat is on my stomach, so dress I'm look like 6 months pregnant lol I'll been looking for shapewear that is comfortable, I read every single review here and yes, agree with most of them is super spanx you BETTER GO SIZE DOWN my regular size is large so I went medium and OMG it work, I did on 3 different dresses and as you can see ( left side with the shapewear, right side none in all pictures) big differences, ... important NOTE : I was wearing granny underwear is a no go lol and you can take it off in the low part to use the bathroom, on the yellow dress you can see the zeeper so yes on bright dresses may be clearly seen in but I don't care lol I will order small on black to tide this belly down for sure.... after all BEST SHAPEWEAR SO FAR !!!! ... show more

People, let me tell you all about this slip. I ordered a large thinking that it would be too tight, but I am having to return it and get a medium. I'm thick at 200lbs and 5'3" athletic thick. I just had a baby 9 months ago and I'm trying to suck everything back in as much as possible. Well, even being a size too big, this faja gets the job done! I'm not uncomfortable or gasping for breath, it feels good enough to wear under normal clothes, and actually looks pretty sexy compared to others I have tried. This is disgusting. The first thing I noticed was the smell! Cigarettes! Then I noticed all the cat hairs all over it. There are stains all over the item. I normally wear a size 20 in jeans and I bought a 2x if you are looking to compare. According to the size chart I should have sized up but I'm glad I didnt because it fits perfect.
