I got a size medium as I’m normally between a 4-6 size. It was pretty hard to even get on since it’s very tight. After getting it on, the size is comfortable. I would probably go up a size if I bought it again though. Doesn’t seem to breathe very much, feeling hot as I just sit here to write this review. But overall, it does a good job compressing my stomach and ribs. It definitely flattens out my not so perfect stomach. So I would buy it again, but probably a size larger.     • Make sure you order the right size it makes a difference in comfort
This is the second Shaper I purchase from your company, and I must say I am very pleased. The first one 102, was strapless and the thong was a little uncomfortable without wearing panties and at times it would slide down mid back and back flap would bulge between bra and shaper. But honestly, I think I purchased the wrong size (L). This time I purchased 102A XL and it is perfect . It has a hook closure which makes it easier to go to restroom and now the back sits on top of my bra so there is no bulge between bra and shaper. I am 5'9 my weight between 225- 235lbs. I will definitely be ordering this in different color soon. ... show more

    • I recommend if you need something fast and last minute but not for long term use
For the price, it is worth it if you're trying to find something to help you out in an outfit and it's short notice. I wore it very often but it's been about a month now and I feel like it has stretched out to the point where it's not holding me in as it did in the beginning. The straps are very very uncomfortable. I was in pain a lot during the day while wearing it because they twist and my shoulders were hurting because of it. It tugged my stomach in so lovely though for the first two weeks of wear though.     • No FUPA compression
I was hopeful that this would work because after I first slipped it on it seemed to fit great. ....and then I started moving. The top didn’t seem to roll down even without the straps (bonus), but the boning that prevented the rolling ended up making the fat rolls on my lower back more pronounced because of how short they were. The thong part seems to hit high in order for the torso section to rest the bottom of my bra. Because the leg holes are cut so high, it creates a panty line on the sides of my hips. I was wearing jeans so it wasn’t my main concern but wearing a dress would have been out of the question. I’d like to size up but I’d be afraid it wouldn’t hold much in... The lower portion that would have held in my FUPA wasn’t even the thicker compression material. This is for someone with a great ass, toned upper thighs/hips, no belly pooch and a fat mid-back. ... show more

    • Does the job, just not true to size
The strap placement on this is awful. Goes right over the top of the chest making your chest look horrible. However once i removed the straps it DID stay up- granted I only wore it around the house. The seams around the legs are pretty tight, but i think they will loosen up. Im a size 20 and had to exchange the XXL for a 3X because the 2X didnt even go past my knees. Its snug enough that my size 18 jeans fit like a charm without having any "spillage" at the top. But the back of it is not fitting so nicely so i will have to sew on new strap connectors or wear it with a broad strapped bra that will hokd it up. Not perfect by any means but worth keeping and making work! ... show more

This is is a wonderfully made product and I was thrilled to find a mid-section thong shaper! Though I do wish it had snaps or similar at the crotch; the present design is pull up, pull down. Definitely not a deal-breaker (I'm ordering another!) buuuuut if the manufacturer reads these, this would be an awesome feature :) Light compression-wear was recommended to aid/relieve general discomfort post-op hysterectomy and this was PERFECT. I'm 5' and 145 lbs and ordered the large - for my purposes this size fit well and was comfortable; just enough to support without squeezing. However, If I was trying to smooth out my lumps and bumps to achieve a more flattering silouette under clothing I feel this size would still do the trick. The bra hook crotch is literally THE WORST. I wish I hadn't purchased it because of the crotch. You can't move at all without ending up with the worst wedgie you've ever had. They could have made a button attachment at the belly or top of your pelvis, but nope... That sucker is right where you DON'T want it. Purchase one from this brand without that part! It fits great other than that, gives me the shape I wanted and stays in place. But this specific one is a joke. ... show more

I use this as support for separated tummy muscles I do belly dance and modified core strengthening exercises and I wear this mostly as support when I am not working out. It helps my sore muscles to stay together as they heal from the workout and keeps them in position It’s very comfortable The crotch can open so that I don’t need to take the whole thing down to go to the bathroom I don’t use the shoulder straps, those are nonsense and weirdly positioned IMO so I’m glad they were removable ... show more
