I do early morning deliveries sometimes and wanted to try this as a way to alert customer's to my presence. It definitely does that. Very bright, and with a lot of different patterns. But one thing that's a subjective con to me might be a pro to you. And that is that this bad boy goes on TIGHT. You can remove it, but it is not easy at all. For me, I wanted something that was easy to put on, and this is, but that was also easy to pull off. There may be things that could be done to make it easier to remove, but that would also compromise the bond it has when driving at speed, so I don't want to do that. But if you want this as more of a permanent thing that you rarely if ever remove? This will absolutely work well.

The media could not be loaded. I love the choice of strobe pattern. And I got 16 to choose from! This thing lights up an entire yard 360 deg amazingly bright. I tried taking a video of the different patterns while pointing the camera at the light itself, but it was just a horrible video that not only didn't display the amazing strobe colors but would likely have caused someone watching it to have a seizure. So I tried this one pointing the camera at the trees beside the truck to see if thats any better. I ordered the amber and White strobe light so I can get some extra visibility to oncoming traffic when I'm maneuvering the plow truck and this was a great choice. The cord is plenty long enough for my 2000 F350 with extended cab to reach through either the drivers door and along the dash to the cig lighter (My personal preference) or to come through the split back window. I personay choose to route the wire through the rain drip rubber moulding and across the dash so the wire doesnt get flexed or broken inside the cab on the fridgid days when I'm driving (not necessarily plowing) the truck in sub zero temps up here in Alaska. The 4 corner suction cups seem to have 5 magnets mounted inside each one. These Magnets, combined with the suction cups make an extremely secure attachment. Even though the instructions say not to exceed 55 mph I feel very confident this very low profile light fixture is going to stay secure way past that even in excess of posted highway speeds. My only recommendation would be to mount this thing a foot or 2 higher than the cab so you can see the ground around the plow truck. This strobe light has to be the brightest thing I've ever seen mounted to a vehicle! Great value, simple installation with no tools necessary. It seems very well built and durable. Simple solution with great functionality at an awesome price. The housing seems very well built of ABS plastic (I think) and is likely quite water tight. (ABS is the same material that black sewer pipes are made of after all.)
