The layered support system actually mimics how your core wants to stabilize, so it feels more like assistance than restriction. The contouring bands on the sides add shape without digging in. It is made from quality materials, and the stitching is clean. No loose threads, no weird edges. For the price, it is a great value. It feels like something a pro athlete would wear, but it is accessible and easy to use. Overall, I am impressed. It is functional, comfortable, and does not feel like a costume. I like this product. Helps support back and not noticeable under most clothing. It can pinch or scratch some but I put a piece of soft material underneath areas to help with that. I bought because of a back injury and I feel it is supportive especially when exercising.
