I bought this because the chaise of our couch is far from the coffee table and there's no room for a side table next to the couch. My main concerns were that it would mess up the arm of the couch and it wouldn't be sturdy enough for me to trust putting drinks, etc. on it. Thankfully, neither of those are even remote concerns for me anymore. It is incredibly sturdy and big enough, where I put coffee, water, remotes, and a baby monitor all on it at the same time with no worry about them spilling on the couch or electronics. So I ordered one “brown” table to see if it would fit my sofa. It fits perfectly and the quality is very good. I then immediately ordered another “brown” table for the other arm of my sofa and surprise — although it is brown, it is a completely different shade of brown. I thought I had ordered the wrong color, but no, there is only one “brown” option. So just as a caution, if you want two of these, I would order them at the same time. Tray has nice spring loaded legs to grab on to your chair or couch arm and holds very snuggly. Material seems pretty good as well. I changed my initial review from 4 to 5 stars since the seller had great customer support. The original tray had 2 scratches. You might be able to see in the attached picture upper left and bottom right. Not a big enough issue for me to return but a small nuisance nonetheless.
