This starter was perfect. Seems to be almost an 0ME type replacement. Works like new. However, didn’t fix my problem. The reason it just spins and doesn’t start was because the fly wheel has an issue. If you don’t know if you need a starter or not, takeoff the houseing case that is behind the transmission lever (seephoto) turn the motor over and see if it will spin. If it spins but doesn’t start, you don’t need a starter, check out the fly wheel. However this product for the five minutes that I’ve used it, is exactly what it should be.     • Worked great on 125 Tao Cheetah
My daughter burned out the starter on our 125 cc Tao Cheetah ATV. Ordered this part. Removed burned out starter (3 bolts). Discovered that the starter uses a chain, so had to open the case on the reverse side of the engine.....after removing f/r shifter and foot pedal/rest. Pull chain onto the new starter and confirm alignment. Close the case, tighten the starter bolts, re-install f/r shifter, and re-install foot pedal. I'm not a mechanic, but was able to figure it out.
