I have a front picture window that is difficult to find blinds for, and because it's so wide any typical, standard kind of blind is also pretty HEAVY. Saw mention of "zebra blinds" and was fascinated enough to research and then purchase these. They entirely fit the bill for me. When open, I get plenty of light and yet, somehow, people still can't really see IN, to my den, though I can easily see out -- which is PERFECT. Loved the blinds so much I've ordered more, and plan to eventually order more to replace some standard faux wood blinds which -- as we all know -- the slats or those are dust magnets. Install was easy, even me working by myself and with the wider length. One word of advice is to install the brackets as close to the front edge of the window opening as possible -- if you go back further it makes the blind part difficult to insert, a lesson I learned on the first install. I DID have one smaller unit that arrived with a cracked end cap, I reached out to the company with a photo and a request for a replacement part, and they shipped it super fast and free. Very satisfied. I've had guests who don't seem to realize these are not traditional slat blinds until I point it out to them, even had one guest recently have to get up and go finger them, she didn't believe me. First of all, they were one of the only companies that would make a zebra blind 100 inches wide. We needed it that wide because our dining room has three windows side-by-side. It fit perfectly, was easy to install, and looks sharp! Furthermore, it does a great job of allowing some light in, while still giving privacy. I liked it so much, I bought another one for a smaller window. One concern though. The chain that raises and lowers the blind seems flimsy and I'll be curious if it can last for several years. We installed these on our doorwalls that open to our deck area because the sun shines straight in every morning at certain times of the year and it's blinding. Once these shades were installed, they were barely visible at the top of the door when rolled up - and beautiful, sheer, yet with just enough light blocking to give us the time away from the rising, blinding sun for comfort. These would not block out all the light, but just enough of the unpleasant light to make you comfortable. we ordered 2 of these for our living room to try them out. they arrived earlier than expected. my husband installed them in a flash (he's not very handy but it was not difficult to install at all). We liked them so much that we ordered two more for our dining room as well. Again, they arrived early but this time one of the boxes was missing the brackets. I contacted the vendor's customer service via email and told them about the issue. They responded quickly and sent two sets of brackets right away. ... show more

    • Installation is a bit troublesome

have just one thing to say - the quality is excellent. However, there is one flaw: the installation snap. It can be quite challenging to snap it on correctly, especially when installing a very long blind alone. It's best to have someone help you with the installation to ensure the snap is aligned properly. If you encounter difficulty snapping it in place, it likely means the angle and distance between the slots and installation snap are not precise. The manual is also lacking in detail guidance, need to watch the video instructions. Overall, the end result is not bad, but I strongly recommend optimizing the installation snap to make the process less laborious. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My husband and I recently remodeled part of our house and we’re looking for “high end” blinds. I’m in love with these zebra shades. They bring so much natural lighting in during the day and allow all the privacy at night time when you don’t want your neighbors creeping in through the window. We bought the cordless ones for our bathroom. Surprisingly I prefer the corded blinds. Easier to navigate. Also they’re really easy to install. The first one took awhile while reading the step by step directions but we’ve installed about 8 in our house and it takes like 5 mins now. Very reliable and sturdy. I love the blinds but unfortunately I am missing hardware so I cannot hang one of the sets I bought. Cannot figure out how to order the hardware. Will change to five stars if I can get hardware. I am passed the return window.
