We bought this privacy screen to help give us some privacy from the road. We are outside a lot at night and our neighbors dogs bark a lot when they see us, they bark less now :) we also put a strand of LED lights on the top of the fence with the tan color it looks great at night. I bought this to keep the neighbors plants from infiltrating my yard. So far it is serving its purpose. As far of 'Sheerness' I can not see through it (good thing for me) Durability, its only been up one season so I will not rate yet, but I will say we have extreme temperatures which will quickly destroy many outside products and so far so good with this fence. ... show more

I would have preferred a more opaque privacy screen. It is almost translucent when the sun is at a certain angle. I got it so my dogs wouldn't bark at passersby but it doesn't work quite as well as I would have liked but it looks good attached to my fence!

I hoped it blocked all vision through because of our St.Bernard and the liner does not do that. He can still see through it quite easily. I may buy another and double it up. Shouldn’t have to though. I could easily cut it for the gates. I would say the material is a mesh.

We haven't gotten to our windy season yet, so I can then report back on durability, but this really "saved" us. Our neighbors have a lot of "junk," and we had two layers of bamboo fencing on top of the chain-link fence that separates the properties. That was next to useless as we could see right through it.
