This bed needs a thick mattress or your pillow will fall through. It’s a low bed. The headboard should have been bigger to not have the gapping issue.

Product was 5 days late so I had to race to build it for the reveal but thankful it got here. I contacted seller but did not here back from them. Spent days chasing FedEx. It says prime shipping but it was not. The backboard is also plastic that looks like wood. It is not actual wood. Word to the wise, put the slats into the frame before you build. Do not do this last as they don’t fit in easily. I had to disassemble the bed to get them to fit into the slats. Directions will tell you to do this last (J) but don’t. Do it when you are building the sides. Otherwise the bed looks great and feels great and is sturdy. Building a Minecraft gamer room and it fits the decor really well. Probably would go with something different if I had to do it over though. Stressful.

I got this bed for my 4 year old. The directions for assembly weren’t great (no words, pictures were tiny) but my husband that hates building furniture was still able to figure it out without TOO much frustration and it took maybe an hour. I love the look of it and my husband, 4 year old and myself have sat on it together so it feels sturdy! It also arrived about 3 days earlier than expected so that was a plus too. Good bed for kids.

Bought the bed for my 14yr old son.. The twin bed is a very good looking bed. My son that has no opinion about anything even said how nice looking the bed is.. He is 511" and has plenty of room his feet do not dangle. I like how sturdy the bed is and it was very easy to assemble.

While it was a little tricky to assemble, the finished product is a good buy. This will go well with a 10 inch foam mattress. I wouldn't go thinner. The bottom of the headboard sits high. I have 2 of these with 12 inch foam mattresses and for nearly 300 bucks I felt like the frame Will hold up to my 11 year old who can break things by looking at them. I wouldn't recommend this to one who moves a lot. It's sturdy as a stand alone, but I don't trust it to go from room to room. I'd "dry" assemble it first for fit and then use lock Tite on the screws. The first one was good enough to convince me to buy another for the other child. Neither are unhappy. And the darker neutral colors are pretty easy to match.

I bought this as a replacement bed my 13 yr old had a twin wood bed frame and it broke from the rails. I figured he needed a metal one now. It was pretty easy to set up it can be done by one person. There instructions don’t have words it’s just pictures and if you follow those through you can put it together. It seems sturdy. I’ll post an update after a month of use.

My only concern is that it may not be suitable for the foam mattresses that come in a box. I purchased a foundation to place on it thinking I would solve that problem and it turned out the foundation also had slats so I placed a few floorboards that I had laying around under it between the mattress and it and it solved any problem and works great.
