Well as some people said it looks cheaper irl than it does in the pictures, I kind of was expecting that since it's Chinese. As other people have said as well it's a very low profile bed, I mean the slats where the mattress goes on are like 2 inches from the floor. The assembly is not bad but you have to take your time to read and UNDERSTAND the instructions, and properly split the parts and pieces. It's easier if you got a screwdriver or power tools. It took me 3 hrs from start to finish by myself, the only tool I had is a screwdriver that you can change the tip between the cross and the hexagonal shape one. ... show more

So I am starting this out with a 4 due to it being a bit of a handful for one person. Also, after putting it together, I like everything except the wood and velcro pieces that support the mattress. That said, I haven't slept on it yet, so I will update as time passes. It does seem pretty sturdy. It is lower than a traditional frame, so if you have issues getting up and down, I wouldn't advise it. The fabric is nice. There are a couple of seams on the back of the headboard that aren't the prettiest, but it is the back and I'm not fretting over it for the price. I'm pleased so far. ... show more

It came on time and with no damage. The assembly was easy as the parts were all clearly marked and the direction were clear and easy to follow. The wooden cross members that support the mattress are a bit thin, but I think they'll hold up well, as there is only about 24 inches between the steel supports. They attach to the side slats with velcro, so they won't shift. My only complaint is, it is super low to the ground. It may as well not have feet. If you have any mobility issues, this is something to consider. I bought a five inch lifts to get it up to a decent height, and now it's about perfect. The top of the mattress is now about two feet off the ground. Unless you like sleeping on the floor, I highly recoment lifts (you'll need 12 as there are 12 feet supporting the bed.) Otherwise, great bed. I bought it because of the head board acts as reclining seat, and it does it perfectly. ... show more

Know that it is lower to the ground than the advertised images makes it seem. Just know, it is VERY LOW to the ground. Assembly is not fun! Plan on 2 people and 3-4 hours easily. A small drill would be helpful, but is not necessary since they send you all of the parts. This will make you cuss, but hang in there. (Ask for forgiveness later lol.) We have assembled lots of furniture. This one is trickier with all of the many parts. It gets easier though. The instructions are so-so. There are TWELVE STEPS! Trust me, you will count down after each step!!! Step One and Two are the hardest to comprehend, but once you lay it out it will start to make sense. After you get the first side done, you simply replicate the same thing on the other side. This has LOTS OF PARTS! They ship long pieces in long boxes anyway. Why can’t they ship it mostly assembled?? CHEAP. They can’t make it that easy. Good luck. Grab your knee pads, water bottles, and patience! Your fingers will be sore from tightening the MANY, MANY parts! A small drill will help save your fingers, but they include manual labor tools that will work. This might take a beginner 5-6 hours to assemble. Make sure you start early in the day. Hoping to sleep like a baby after all of this! It looks good. It feels sturdy. Only time will tell if it was worth it. We are happy with the end result though. Sturdy low profile bed that's a good value overall. I feel like some reviewers gave this unjustly bad reviews out of their own failure to read all the info the seller provided on this page. So here is my honest review of my experience. Delivery was 6 days late (FedEx) the seller was apologetic and helpful so I do not fault them for that. The box arrived with some damage from shipping but the product was well packaged and not affected. -Instructions were legible. -Wooden support slats were inside the velcroed back compartment of the headboard as the item's webpage description said. Tips: You will need 2 people to put this together mostly to help hold parts as you drill. You will need a drill for the 6 feet, and the side wedge that covers the metal support plate. Do not tighten screws until you have all the sides together, especially the brackets. If you have a memory foam mattress you might want to purchase a bunk board to increase it's lifespan. Pro's-Sturdy with a nice modern look. Extremely low profile which is exactly why I wanted it so that my small dogs can safely get on and off the bed without injuring themselves. No more ugly inconvenient pet steps taking up space. I like the pillow/neck support the headboard provides while watching tv or reading in bed. It's the perfect angle. Affordable price. Con's-The headboard can adjust but it's less than an inch difference so that's disappointing. The only quality issue I had was the center wooden support beam's holes were inconsistent. Some are off center and all are a different distance apart. Although the wooden slat's support the mattress firmly, I do not recommend using them. They are 4" apart (several of mine are more than that) which will cause sagging and decrease the lifespan of your mattress. For the low price and sturdiness of the frame though this is an easy fix. I intend to buy a bunkie board set with fabric between the slats. Because of the ribcage slat design I cannot recommend this out of the box to heavier people. If you get a bunkie board then hell yeah it's gonna hold up. All in all I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this frame to anyone who wants an affordable, solid, modern styled, extremely low profile bed. ... show more

I wouldn’t say this was difficult to put together, just time consuming. With me and boyfriend together, took about 2 hours. Maybe a little less. It’s pretty sturdy. It’s def low profile. But I loved the low angled back, comfortable to prop a few pillows up and lean against to read etc. It’s pretty sturdy. But beware it will def shift on a hard floor without some type of rug or grippers or something. ... show more
