Mine came in one box. I remember many people and the ad saying it comes in two so I would suggest opening the first box that comes and checking. I (5 months pregnant) put this together myself in about 1.5 hours. Super simple. I had to take many breaks to stretch so I wouldn't be in pain from sitting on the floor to long. The metal slats take a bit of force to pop into the slots but after thinking about it, this is a good thing. The frame is very sturdy and the drawers are nice. I read reviews on how much the drawers can hold and frankly I can't say much in way of this because I store clothing and light things and by the time the drawers are full I don't think they weight over the recommended weight. I bought a frame that sits on the floor for the sole reason of keeping the cats (and oddly enough my husky) from getting under the bed. They used to play under the bed, bumping it all night, causing me loss of sleep. For this reason the bed frame is absolutely perfect. It doesn't exactly match the picture and someone said that you can't open the top drawers with night stands which is the exact truth. Also one of the middle drawer hooks (that keep the drawers from coming out on their own) wasn't included so to fix that I filled the drawer with storage stuff and put it on the top which is now held in place by my night stand. To me this is no big deal. I put the things I need most often in the lower drawers and the stuff I'll need a couple times a year in the upper drawers. It’s a pretty good bed frame. Looks really nice. Was fairly easy to assemble. It looks great in my room and has so much more storage than I thought it would. It’s a great value especially for the cost. I think I may have been sent a queen instead of a full, given I have a solid 5 or 6 inches of space that the mattress doesn’t fill up, and another few inches on the bottom. I’m cool with it, though. I’ll probably buy a bigger mattress when I move out, anyway. ... show more

This is a pretty sturdy bed frame it does make a little noise but then again I'm a larger dude. It was super easy to put together and I had all the parts and nothing was damaged so that's a plus also. The only thing is that I have a 15 inch tall mattress and it does slide around because it does not recess into the frame but on top of it so I will be putting some sort of brackets on to hold it in place no big deal but just so people are aware otherwise it's a nice frame and the under that storage is perfect as well ... show more

I got the frame itself put together in about an hour. I did not have help with that. I had my sister help me get the drawers put together. Instructions were easy to read, everything was clearly marked. I had everything I needed. I have a few screws left over, since they gave me more than I needed. I slept on the new bed frame for the first time last night, and it was really nice! My old frame and box spring made my bed creak. I'm a light sleeper, and I toss and turn a lot. This bed is very quiet. Didn't make a sound when I would switch from sleeping on one side to the other. Add on the fact that I now have more storage under my bed, this is a win for me! Buyers BEWARE! The poles that support the mattress aren’t all fitted properly. Several of them came cut too short so we are just being mindful not to sit too heavily on the bed. I’ve requested new poles to fit as several of them don’t but the buyer isn’t responding to me. The delivery person also delivered this to a neighbor down the street so when it said it was delivered my husband had to go door to door in a torrential downpour trying to locate it and then had to carry it (it’s extremely heavy and he’s a strong guy but still it was hard) all the way back to our apartment and up the stairs. The box was severely damaged but thankfully we got it before the bed frame was exposed to the elements. If the delivery hadn’t been wrong and if the poles that support the mattress all fit as intended (several do and several do not and they can easily pop out because of it) then I would give this bed frame 5 stars but I cannot. My husband also noticed that one side of the frame was delivered warped. If you just don’t move around much due to the rods not being properly fitted, you get a good nights sleep. This bed would be worth the price if all the parts were cut properly. ... show more

For a bed frame under $200 I am very pleased with the quality. Much better than the cheap wood frames for sale. It’s metal and very sturdy. The drawers offered more storage than expected. Our room is very small and had to have one side of the bed against the wall so I originally thought we would have to give up the 2 drawers against the wall. It ended up working out nicely because the drawers don’t run on a track, so we actually were able to zip tie the front and back drawers together, and keep all of the storage. It actually seems much more stable with the drawers tied together anyways. It didn’t take us too long to put it together (about an hour), although I do recommend using a power tool instead of the provided Allen wrench. It will save you time, especially on the drawers. Overall a good buy. It will do it’s job the next couple years ... show more
