This was easy to put together and I had it up in about an hour. My cats were all over it right away and seem to love it. The carpet is plush and the beds are soft. The base is sturdy and feels stable, but I felt like I needed to use the anchor that came with it to make sure we dont have any tipping accidents because it is VERY tall. Took me about 1.5-2 hrs to assemble by myself. I assembled it where I wanted it to be because I knew it was going to be heavy and no way I could have carried it to the designed spot after assembly Very good instructions and cat tree is very stable after assembly. My bengal and Mainecoon both love it. I am five feet one and I am just barely at eye level with the upper level rectangular cave.
